What irritates me about the whole affair is that after the show was actually broadcast only TWO people complained and that was about Ross swearing. It wasn't until the article in the Daily Rant that everyone else leapt onto the bandwagon.
'Ooh - look what happened on a show I've never listened to. It's scandalous! Must complain about how offended I am by something I didn't hear!'
IMO, the BBc should deal with the original two complaints plus any by the concerned parties - Andrew Sachs and the delightful whatshername (although selling her story to The Sun really boosted her credibility as an injured party ) - and tell everyone else to get a grip and worry about something that actually matters.
