To be pissed off with people using parent and baby parking when got no kids

This really winds me up. I was at Tesco this morning with 14 week old DS and couldn't find any parent and baby spaces free so had to park in normal bay. I noticed a white works van, a ford street ka (2 seater with no child car seat in it) parked in P and B spots. I had to lock the car and rush round trying to find a trolley with car seat stand on it and then wheel back to the car at the back of the car park.
When I was coming out after shopping I saw a stupid old fart pulling out of a P and B space in their shitty old micra with shock horror no child in the car. I also saw a woman and her daughter who must have been at least 10 yrs old pulling into one of those spaces. They could have easily parked in one of the normal spaces, they were slightly obese, the walk would have done them good. Inconsiderate wankers.

I think there should be no P&T spaces. That would fix this ridiculous argument. Make more disabled bays I say!

What grates me is when those with 10-12 year olds (wild guess to their age, but they were about at least 1.50m tall and were wearing tribal type clothing) report us to the store manager (we dived in to take place they were aiming for ) when at the time my husband and I were accompanied by our 2 months old ds and 28 months old dd. It did say, after all, PARENT AND TODDLER parking NOT Parent and child.

Our registration number plate was called out on the supermarket's loudspeaker, asking us to present ourselves to customer service, whereby we were greeted by the store manager and the person who reported us (we recognised he as the driver). When the store manager realised what was happening and the situation (that is, that we did have a baby and toddler with us, contrary to the report), he quite rightly said to the person who reported us "you owe this couple an apology", to which the person stormed off without saying a word!

The store manager handled the situation really well. I am pleased that he acted upon the report, but even more pleased that when he realised that we were the ones with the baby and toddler, he acted accordingly.
