AIBU getting annoyed at a 4 year old "grass" in my sons nursery?

when i picked him up today, the teacher at the gate told me my ds had initially refused to tidy up pens he'd been using, but after being reminded of his "star chart", he put them away.

when i went into the class, a wee girl (who ia very bright and articulate) told me my ds had made a mess. i said, "but he tidied it up". she replied "no he never". i then replied "well miss told me he did".

i then just walked away from her. but i am really annoyed!!! this is not the first time she has told me tales about him! i am thinking that if she tries it again i am going to tell her that i get a full report from the nursery teacher and i don't want her to tell me any tales about my ds.

what do you think? is saying something to her unreasonable? if you were her parent would you go nuts at me? AIBU because she is only 4?

OMG!!! the trials of nursery...

I used to gat a daily report on the horrors of my son's behavior from (yes) a four year old girl. the correct response is "Oh well, never mind, I love him anyway" or "Okay" or"He got told off for pushing, did he? And have you been told off for telling tales on people? Cos that's not very nice either, is it?"

Oh I hate this!

"your DS has been in trouble twice today, he was messing around and wouldn't be quiet for the teacher"

Oh sod off and see the ocean! I don't need a 7 year old telling me how to raise my kid, thanks all the same! And I bet you're far from perfect yourself eh? you pretentious little shit.
