I think i'd pick a company run by women. There's one on our high street thank goodness.

TheCrackFox · 10/10/2008 17:32

Well, I make all the financial decisions in our household so I think I'll pass on using Trident.

FWIW instead of making crap adverts to boost their profits perhaps they should think about redundancies - half their staff seem to spend all day on Mumsnet.

Flibbertyjibbet · 10/10/2008 17:33

I bet there are no more postings from robert ehoward and mumsysillyname now cos they'll be on their way home 5.30 office close.

policywonk · 10/10/2008 17:33

Email Robert and tell him you think he's a cock: [email protected]

needmorecoffee · 10/10/2008 17:33

same here crackfox. I choose the insurance. I think its very common.

Flibbertyjibbet · 10/10/2008 17:33

Dammit xpost with Carmenere while a 2yr old climbing up the blinds distracted me for a while

OrmIrian · 10/10/2008 17:34

Free speech! What an outrageous idea. We only allow certain opinions previously passed by MN control. Haven't you seen the MN handbook of acceptable opinions . There's a whole page on fruitshoots for a start. Can't have free speech cluttering up our lovely clean forum.

mummsy11 · 10/10/2008 17:34

booo!!!! im still here ive never gone away!!!

OrmIrian · 10/10/2008 17:35

TheCrackFox · 10/10/2008 17:36

Flibbertyjibbet · 10/10/2008 17:38

laptop on the train.
Short journey home.
blackberry.
internet on mobile.

Following instructions to keep it going after 5.30.....

TheCrackFox · 10/10/2008 17:39

Mummsy - it is called a SAHM nowadays. I have never met a woman who would refer to themselves as "mumsy", interesting choice of username.

ehoward · 10/10/2008 17:39

Riven you're a right one, start a riot then look to blame everyone else. This is way more exciting than the BBC site!

freespiritfreedom · 10/10/2008 17:40

or housewife

OP posts:
mummsy11 · 10/10/2008 17:41

LadyOfWaffleIsScaryEnough · 10/10/2008 17:41

roffle @ Riven starting a riot.

witcheseve · 10/10/2008 17:42

I knew it, I knew it, the one with the cheap ketchup is the dad not the brother. Mentioned this on a different thread last week. We may all hate it but its certainly got us talking.

First time I saw it I said as if working in Sainsburys is something to aspire to. So annoying. I wonder what will happen next. Will she find a lover in the shape of her boss and give up working there straight away.

OrmIrian · 10/10/2008 17:42

Bad riven! Put down that petrol bomb at once!

Ehoward-as in Emily Howard? 'I'm a lady?'
Give it a rest. Mummsy11 and ehoward....you don't even SOUND like women. Embarassing.

TinkerBellesMum · 10/10/2008 17:42

LOL Liffey, do you need a hug? Are you scared?

Find it rather amusing that someone who "use[s] this site with my children" is going to report this thread to "mums net administrator".

And the idea that women are sexist because they don't like women being exploited for an advert in 2008
