took dd1 to the hospital drop in today cos she has a supisious rash and has been poorly.

dd is 21 months and the doctor asked if i had any other children and i said i had two ds's aged 4 and 10 weeks. she replied 'oh you have a 10 week old and a 20 month old you poor thing'

i was so pissed off i feel like the luckiest women in the world having my gorgeous children even with the small age gap and its not that much hard work
why is everyone so negative when you have 3 kids esp when you preg

I believe yabu. I think it should be made illegal to slap, punch, hit, spit at medical staff.

Dr was only being sympathetic.

chipsandtart · 06/10/2008 19:45

yeah sorry guys i think i over reacted due to stress of my daughter she was really ill but turned out to be an ear infection.

by the way I AM NOT PREGNANT! i meant from being pregnant with my now 10 week old

oh lol i congratulated you on pg anyhow no blows exchanged a metaphorical scrap then

chipmonkey · 06/10/2008 20:46

ck, surely it is illegal to do any of those things to medical staff?

monkeymonkeymonkey · 06/10/2008 20:48

cheshirekitty I think it is illegal? Same as its illegal to assault anyone else.

ScottishMummy · 06/10/2008 20:54

of course it is illegal to assault staff, having a vocational job is not an excuse to have a pop

and can lead to nhs trust refusing the perpetrator treatment

MaryAnnSingleton · 06/10/2008 20:59

ditheringdora, yep she got pregnant when her DS was 6 weeks old but due to a couple of minor problems, she has had the twins at 34 weeks, eeeekkk!!

The twins are in hospital but will be ok, they are being kept in because they are small (4lbs something) but will be home very soon - choas!

ditheringdora · 08/10/2008 20:39

I am a dork, I know, but am fascinated (obsessed) with people who have babies "close together" imo. I spose cos it took me ages to get my mojo back!
hope all works out well for the twins and your friend pamelat
