oh and DS3 has been in boots pull-ups for about 6 months, and just this last week Huggies (but I won't be buying them again - far too easy for an inquisitive 16 month old to take off!!!!) - no leaks.

FAQ · 07/10/2008 23:13

ahh - no problem - you did pre-empty correctly - but DS3 is in size 6 pull-ups

ShyBaby · 07/10/2008 23:20

We never did very well with pull ups. So I gave up and potty/toilet trained as much as I could. Pull ups were rubbish, and I tried a few brands.

DraculaNeedsArteries · 07/10/2008 23:23

Sorry...if we didn't want them I would post them on to someone...but as I say we will use them to give us another couple of months of nightime absorbancy without buying another pak of nappies....28m just feels too young to be dry at night.

FAQ · 07/10/2008 23:28

my SIL's DD was dry day and night at 22 months !!! (consistently so!) and they didn't even "try" - she just did it of her own accord!!!

DraculaNeedsArteries · 07/10/2008 23:32

DD3 was the same. She has been dry at night 9 nights out of 10 since July. The day she was potty trained by day she was dry at night. I don't think we have had a wet nappy at night for about 4-6weeks....she just feels too young. My baby is growing up

Joolyjoolyjoo · 07/10/2008 23:41

dd2 has aldi's pull-ups at night- they are often wet in the morning, but have never leaked. I like putting her in pull-ups at night, because, although she is rarely dry overnight, on the odd occasion she wakes up and goes to the toilet, so her "special pants" allow her to do so. I tried taking her out of them, and she just wet the bed each night and didn't even notice

Pan · 07/10/2008 23:57

no. Not being unreasonable. Fit for purpose and all of that.

chefswife · 08/10/2008 00:13

don't bother going trying to take them back, specially without a receipt. they won't refund you. write to company. i just did it with some burt's bees that went moldy and they sent me a huge product package of goodies.

DraculaNeedsArteries · 08/10/2008 10:28

Well after all that talk of dry nappies last night DD3 woke up with a wet nappy this morning [grrr]

TheShipsCat · 08/10/2008 10:33

I took a half-used packet of dishwasher tablets back to Sainsbury's, (own brand, no receipt) 'cos they were rubbish. And they refunded me. Give it a go - you've got nothing to lose.

maggymay · 08/10/2008 12:49

Phone the number on the packet and tell them you have a complaint about the product they usually send vouchers out to cover the cost of the faulty goods they may ask you to send a sample off to them so they can check what the problem is

VictorianSqualorSquelchNSquirm · 08/10/2008 12:58

DS1 will not wear nappies.
We got round this by buying pullups and calling them nanite pants.
For ages we never had a problem and just lately they have been leaking most nights. I tried 3 types incase it was the brand.
It wasn't, he is just weeing more.
