is your DD very traumatised? HAve you thought of getting her counselling? Or family therapy? In fact you could include your SIl - you obviously have ishoos you should resolve.

FabioAsGoodAsItGets · 29/09/2008 15:07

cod this is a very serious and sad thread about a fat woman, a dead horse and a uninterested child.

NotCod · 29/09/2008 15:08

and music it seems

FabioAsGoodAsItGets · 29/09/2008 15:09

yes, free form adlibbing on an equine theme

NotCod · 29/09/2008 15:09

god i must trot off to school
over hill and down dale

Blu · 29/09/2008 15:19

Do NOT let this woman sit on your child.

sil has just told me she will give me one of her kids push along labradors!

hardly the same thing is it.

OP posts:
combustiblelemon · 29/09/2008 15:22

Was she singing this?

bodybag · 29/09/2008 15:25

no but thats about how simple she looked.

i mean, a 30 odd year old woman riding a horse for a 12 month old.

OP posts:
Kewclotter · 29/09/2008 15:27

The £100 said 3+?

I think your SIL did you a favour if you were trying to balance your 12 month old on a 3 year old rocking horse. Health and safety would not approve.

Labrador sounds jolly though? [hopeful emoticon]

tissy · 29/09/2008 15:29

do the instructions give an upper weight limit (as opposed to a lower age limit)?

If not, you may have a claim against the company....(you know along the lines of the person who sued MacDonald's because the hot coffee was hot, and burned her, when she drove along holding it between her thighs).

Spagblog · 29/09/2008 15:31

This is hilarious. Was it a horse size bodybag for poor old Acorn?

Kewclotter · 29/09/2008 15:31

Ooh thats true Tissy - "giant fat women shoudl not sit on this horse and sing, only waif like little woman under size 6"

You can't really blame her if there wasn't a warning, can you.

bodybag · 29/09/2008 15:32

oh what make out sil injured herself when falling off?.

OP posts:
Spagblog · 29/09/2008 15:34

Anyway, how exactly did the horse break?

bodybag · 29/09/2008 15:34

the only person thats going to end up in a bodybag by the end of the day is my sil

she is coming over now with some hideous labrador ride on.
ffs why do we need another ride on.
great exchange.

OP posts:
tissy · 29/09/2008 15:36

NO!

Just say that the instructions did not state that adults should NOT sit on the horse!

Don't claim for injury (unless she really did injure herself), you'd need medical statements etc for that!

bodybag · 29/09/2008 15:40

OMG !!!!
sil will be injured by the end of the day.

this is the thing she wants to give me.
hideouslabradorrideon

what a load of shit.
oh i am actually getting really really angry now.

OP posts:
bodybag · 29/09/2008 15:41

the horse has broken on the rails/legs

OP posts:
FabioAsGoodAsItGets · 29/09/2008 15:41

Isn't that a golden retriever?
Sue her for misrepresentation.

tissy · 29/09/2008 15:43

pound to a penny your dd will love that; it is far less hideous than the horse.

bodybag · 29/09/2008 15:44

dd already has a lovely wheelybug why would she want that clumsy thing.

maybe i should make a punishment for sil?
make her do a load of chores.
i am not letting that thing waste space in my house.

OP posts:
tissy · 29/09/2008 15:47

for one because she will be able to stand up and push it around.

A wheely bug is for sitting and propelling

Kewclotter · 29/09/2008 15:47

ooh I'll have it if you don't like it - I think he's quite cute.
