AIBU to think a T-shirt which reads...

"GOOD MANNERS COST FUCK ALL, DICKHEAD"

is not perhaps the most appropriate attire to wear to take your kids to primary school in the morning?

One of the Dads at ds2's primary school thinks it is.

YANBU. I hate t-shirts like this in any context, but at primary school it's particularly rubbish.

GrabShellDude · 22/09/2008 09:07

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Not even remotely funny.

UANBU.

TeaDr1nker · 22/09/2008 09:07

i hate those crass t shirts...

PuzzleRocks · 22/09/2008 09:07

I like to swear as much as the next person but that would really piss me off. YANBU

missblythe · 22/09/2008 09:07

That's really nice.

When DD was tiny, one of the Mums at the Breastfeeding Support Group wore a tee saying "The meek don't inherit shit", which I also though was lovely.

horrid and crass IMO

AnarchyAunt · 22/09/2008 09:08

Dad at DD's kindergarten turns up in one saying 'Shake what yo mama gave you' with silhouette of Playboy-esque lady on.

Why? I mean, why???

Not appropriate at all. I can hear it now "What does 'dickhead' mean, mummy?" "what does 'fuck' mean, mummy?"

Not to mention that it's not even funny (oh haha my clothes tell someone off for having no manners, by swearing and insulting, how ironic of me ) and that clothes with 'funny' writings on them are naffola.

So inappropriate language and crimes against both humour and fashion.

SlartyBartFast · 22/09/2008 09:12

what could/would the school do though?

SlartyBartFast · 22/09/2008 09:13

if the school sent a letter the culprits would be saying

its a free country for fuck's sake!!

You are so not being unreasonable.

Poor kid if that's what passes as humour in his home.

SorenLorensen · 22/09/2008 09:18

I'm not going to speak to the head - I know him fairly well by now and he wouldn't be interested.
