I.E. Ask an AIBU? that will get a resounding YABU then reveal details to let us see why actually YANBU but missed the important bits out of the op.

Like this one from Scottishmummy.

AIBU - my MIL (always)wont come and see me despite having gammy legs, bad teeth and one eye

YABU

OP (eventually)but MIL is a conniving miserable manipulative woman who locks my children in the cupboard and beats them.she has gammy legs running away from social workers who rescued dc

weeell had you mentioned that to begin with.....

AIBU to think my sister should eat some pies, lay off the fake tan and unclench

YABU and jealous

cestlavie · 02/09/2008 13:37

It's actually the slow revealing of the information/ paranoiac insanity of the OP which is the most amusing:

AIBU to be pissed of with SIL because she didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid?

OP: Although I've always made a real effort to be her friend
OP: Even though I've never really got on with her
OP: I say "never got on", I mean I've hated her for ages.
OP: I say "for ages", I mean since I first set eyes on the bitch
OP: Probably because she was with the brother I secretly always fancied but could never have
OP: I hate myself for these feelings
OP: Why's everyone gone quiet?

SalLikesCoffee · 02/09/2008 13:38

This is brilliant. If only I still had pelvic floor muscles it wouldn't have been a problem reading...

AIBU to be pissed off that I had to get up at 5am on my birthday and all DP got me was a book?
