...DD not quite two, was aghast when she told me she'd had one for her lunch. They are full of crap aren't they???

I tried to e cool but think my face gave it away. I asked her not to do it again, she said she gave her other grandson them all the time and his mum (my SIL) doesn't mind. I said I didn't care about SIL, I'd prefer she didn't eat such crap.

How bad are they?? I know ones not going to hurt but don't want her to think that I want DD eating that kind of thing.

That's what Granny's are for to give you all the things that mummy forbids - draw the line when it comes to cannabis though won't you!

Its only a one-off, we fed them to our children once when we were out as a novilty thing (none of them realy ate it but had fun stacking up crackers and plastic cheese)

And they are all still alive

My children eat most foods (including crap) in moderation)

MIL are suppossed to feed the kids crap, arn't they?

.. and sugar bread has to be made using white bread! Demerera sugar and real (soft) butter is best. Haven't had one in years - this has put in mind of one!

Now - do I let ds (7, nearly 8) try one????

Wouldn't bother me at all. Everything in moderation. Even reading the link, wouldn't bother me.
