To refuse to have a shower? (possibly)

I just had a shower. Used my favourite shower gel, and nice bodylotion. I come out to find dh who goes "you stink, what did you just use? Havent I told you it smells vile, I am not sleeping in the same bed as you, in fact, Im going out, I cant even be in the same room as you".

I have been using this body lotion for a year. It is my favourite. I have been using the shower gel for 5 months, I love it!
I used the same combination yesterday, and he did not say a thing.

He said he would be back when I have showered.

Should I have a shower?

Hell no! What a cheeky b*er. My Dh sometime makes these kind of comments, not to the extent that he would say he wouldn't sleep in bed with me though

NO. Wierd - what has happened to his sense of smell?

You could go for a walk round the garden or anywhere outside and the smell would be less overpowering?

objectivity · 05/08/2008 21:36

No. Of course not. Unless you then showered in Coal Tar for a laff. But then, being male, he'd probably like that

bluefox · 05/08/2008 21:37

Oh god no - in fact put some more on. Who's rattled his cage today?!!

QuintessentialShadows · 05/08/2008 21:37

However, smelling my arms now, it sort of smells like dry cigar... Could it have gone bad?

PS - don't shower unless it smells bad to you too.

twoluvlykids · 05/08/2008 21:44

tell him to sleep on the sofa. or in the shed. or at his mothers. enjoy the space, sleep diagonally across the bed.

QuintessentialShadows · 05/08/2008 21:47

I think I will go and shower, my ds2 has started wheezing. But I wont tell him. He will be back in his own good time.

Quint...men are feckers...all of them! Don't wash for two weeks and ask him for a bout of oral, then when he complains say now you've got something to whinge about
