I especially love "It's a blessing to have pretty people around me..."

She's a dick

wigparty · 06/07/2008 23:15

Must say she's not my favourite PERSONALIDY but I've read far more cringy interviews than that one!

expatinscotland · 06/07/2008 23:16

she's thick as two planks, too.

harpsichordcarrier · 06/07/2008 23:22

if you have really read more cringeworthy interviews than that, I would like a link

VeniVidiVickiQV · 06/07/2008 23:22

They all are/were/are

Flibbertyjibbet · 06/07/2008 23:24

No-one irritates me more.
The glossy mag spread of her childs 'magical 2nd birthday party' had me not only retching, but made me want to give her the PFB of the year award.
Oh sorry we are not supposed to say PFB anymore are we? But why else would she think that anyone else would be interested in her daughters birthday party?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 06/07/2008 23:26

I particularly liked her backhanded "I find it quite baffling that I'm famous enough that the paparazzi want to sit outside my house. I'm not that fascinating. They don't sit outside Mel C's house."

I bet Mel C is seething

Also "When I was in the Spice Girls I presented myself in a very bolshie, triumphant way. I've softened with age. I think of myself as being on the bridge between youth and wisdom." on the bridge and about to topple over the edge

greenelizabeth · 06/07/2008 23:27

That magazine came free with the paper and it made me laugh too. So much effort went in to the photo shoot, I MEAN birthday party.

She is extremely self-absorbed.

MrsMacaroon · 06/07/2008 23:42

Seeing her leading Nelson Mandela onto the stage at that birthday concert, basking in the reflected glory was possibly the most in-poor-taste moment in Britain's televisual history.

I honestly think she has a Jeffrey Archer style personality disorder...

brimfull · 06/07/2008 23:53

she is a narcissist

greenelizabeth · 06/07/2008 23:53

You're right, she is a female JA!

TotalChaos · 07/07/2008 00:00

well us naysayers are obviously just "evil, dark people" to be repelled by her

ButterflyMcQueen · 07/07/2008 00:03

gosh how hideously self absorbed

MrsMacaroon · 07/07/2008 00:32

her kid is ugly too

have I gone too far?

cornsilk · 07/07/2008 00:34

baby's cute!
Geri on the other hand....

MrsMacaroon · 07/07/2008 00:43

you're right- it's the bonnet wot does it.

onceinalifetime · 07/07/2008 01:04

ROFL at this utter tripe.

"I find that if I criticise myself, it spoils the fun."

Don't worry, we're here to do it for you.

"I'm proud of what I achieved with the Spice Girls. I think I'd be fighting a losing battle if I ever tried to disengage from that."

Keeping options open for another reunion tour and £££.

"I've had to let go of what people think about me. It's lovely receiving compliments, but then I have to accept painful comments, too."

She'll be ok with anything said about her on here then.

The photo makes her look lonely and deluded....oh, she is.

LolaTheShowgirl · 07/07/2008 02:36

My daughter Bluebell is a cheeky monkey. What I like about her is that she's really confident. She says to my mum: 'That's not lilac, that's purple.' She's only two

Oh my fecking god...get over yourself for heavens sake!!!

I've met Gordon Brown. He reminded me of a very nice geography teacher who needed a good makeover.

I saw some ginger bitch in a magazine today. She reminded me of that common looking one from the spice girls and my god, she needed a makeover. Oh, it WAS the ginger, cheapy one from the spice girls!!!

I CANNOT stand her as if you cannot tell. I have never known anyone to be up their own arse so much and I agree with mrsmacaroon...

I think it it appalling the way she has refused to let her daughter's father be part of his child's life. The irony is that Bluebell is the image of her father and will probably resent her mother in years to come for not allowing them to develop a relationship. I find this attitude incredibly selfish, a child does not 'belong' to either parent but has a right to know both.

VictorianSqualor · 07/07/2008 13:05

I think "I think of myself as being on the bridge between youth and wisdom." is a great quote tbh.
Poncey but cool.

beaniesteve · 07/07/2008 13:11

I really really like her.
