TO BE SHOCKED BY THIS "MOTHER"

So I pick DS2 up from after school club and on the walk home we see a woman and a man on one side of the main road and a man on the other... the woman is yelling her head off at the bloke on the other side, and he is yelling back.
It goes along the lines of woman "you F&%$( W%$£ you crack head hes a man" (points to bloke on her side of road,) bloke shouts back "whatever" this carries on then they cross to the blokes side of the road and she waggles her head about waves her arms and shouts and swears more as does the bloke (the one that was with her said nothing just stood looking gormless tbh)

I think she got every swear word and sexual expletive in that she could all at the tpo of her voice and the bloke she was screaming at was screaming back "whatever" "fecking whore"

Now I don't know or care what they were at each other over, and if they want a chav fest in the middle of a public high road then so be it but...........

On the corner of the side road leading on to the main road where they were screaming at each other was a car, in the car with the windows open was a child of about 18 months who was distraught... Woman goes back to the car and shouts at baby "you can shut the fuck up as well" then her and gormless bloke get in and drive off like Lewis Hamilton giving the bloke left behind the finger.

DS2 turns round and says "shes not a nice mummy is she" and all I could say was NO!

most people would think this is terrible behaviour; but why make a thread about it and be all goody goody we're not like this are we- I think it's irritatingly smug tbh.
There are loads of people who have a shit life and aren't brought up as well as you.

plumandolive · 02/07/2008 19:13

katie, i meant the origional post was terrible behaviour not you.

mind you, parking in front of school... well lets all get ready to judge.....

KatieDD · 02/07/2008 19:15

I know and I'd managed not to park on the zigzag's which i swear (although not literally of course) some people think have been painted on to brighten up the road leading to the school.

Bablefish · 02/07/2008 19:21

OK she has a shit life and I am judging her child will have a shit life and grow up to do the same, and on and on, and everyone can say how sad, but hay don't judge.

So if in her mad state after screaming and f-ing and blinding in the street, screaming at her child and driving like a loon she runs over a few kids (maybe yours) it would still be wrong to judge.

Sounds like a total chav and sadly (might be because we all have to hug and be nice) there are more and more people like this.
Not unreasonable to be shocked at all by this, well only the fact that people seem to think it is wrong to judge it, now was her child eating anything from Greggs? Did the child have a fruit shoot? You can only judge these things don't you know.

plumandolive · 02/07/2008 19:28

I just don't think it warrants a smug post that's all. i suppose it must have really shocked you. But I do feel for her kids.

Kimi · 02/07/2008 19:32

I was not being smug in the least.

I just think it is bad, and if judging her is wrong I don't really care.
As I said if she does not want preople to think she is an unfit mother and queen chav she should not carry on like she was

Should have said AIBU to be offended by this "person" as thread title

I think the "mother" thing annoyed me, but I just dont see the point.
There are always "bad" parents, there will always be "chavs" and people who are not perfect, no nice, not excpetional.

Lizzylou · 02/07/2008 19:43

I didn't see the post as being smug in the least. I don't see why it's so un-PC to express shock at someone elses behaviour, especially when it is so outrageous and there are children involved.

plumandolive · 02/07/2008 19:55

Agree with elf.
Just tought it sounded a bit tut tut that's all, didn't say pc. And don't see the point of a post about it... but here i am joining in! Quiet eve on mumsnet eh?
