I came across the image this morning and haven't been able to stop thinking about it and admiring the woman the artist created. So many powerful feelings with not enough words.... amongst them warrior, survivor, leader, brave, wise, blooded, alive....you get the meaning.

Just wanted to share with you all ❤️

‘The artist’ - who?

A woman? A man? A sixth form A-level student? A computer algorhythm?

Ironfloor269 · 23/10/2026 18:14

Looks like an effeminate Tony Blair in a knight’s armour?

That is so true😱

LeftieRightsHoarder · 23/10/2026 21:10

I like the image. She looks inspiring.
I don’t like AI though.

ThreeNewWords · 23/10/2026 21:19

Oh, wow, so powerful to be reminded that older women are .. like ... you know ... actual people, with all feelings and strengths and shit just like other people.

Blows my mind. Until I saw that picture I thought they all just broke their hips and drank tea and stuff.

You asked where the artist was mentioned so I showed you where the artist was mentioned.

WhichCow · 23/10/2026 21:41

It's not actually a very impressive image at all. It's just an older woman and we're so used to older women being invisible.

Sherararara · 23/10/2026 21:43

Thanks for that🙄

MrMucker · 23/10/2026 22:04

Trite.

MrMucker · 23/10/2026 22:05

Actually, better...
Trite shite.

I read the words ‘the artist’ but I wouldn’t really say that’s ’mentioning the artist’ particularly.

I would consider ‘mentioning the artist’ as more like ‘…admiring the woman the artist (Joe Bloggs) created. Here’s his/her website with more shite art [link].’

Anyway, it’s just a computer I think.

Artist?

AI

HorseandHeron · 23/10/2026 22:07

Gingernaut · 23/10/2026 18:27

There is no artist

Someone out a couple of prompts into an AI generator, burning through a couple of swimming pools of water to do so

How can you tell? I can spot AI writing quite easily as that is my field, but although I don't like this art, I wouldn't know how to begin to work out it is AI. What are the clues?

TheLastSilverSaint · 23/10/2026 22:08

Christ, what a load of naff shite

😂😂😂

I am an older woman and this made me cackle.

Brilliant and quite correct!

Even though I loved that OP connected with this and shared it with us! Don't lose heart dear OP, thanks for sharing

Myli1 · 24/10/2026 08:37

Artist? It just looks like AI mush to me. Totally meaningless.

Oh yes. I couldn't think who it was but it is Tony Blair. I was trying to think of women and couldn't work it out.

Suspicioustoenails · 24/10/2026 08:42

I think it's really all over for humanity when we are so impressed and fooled by AI slop.

I would consider that mentioning the artist's name and website.

They can't do that here as there is no artist's name.

ThreeNewWords · 24/10/2026 08:58

I can just picture this image with Trump's face pasted in instead of the woman's. It's exactly the sort of AI slop he and his supporters go for.

If I wanted to create a cheesy AI image of women's strength, I wouldn't have the woman larping in a cliche costume of male strength. We have our own strength, and it's better.

FillerTrackOnTheAlbumOfLife · 24/10/2026 09:07

I can't work out what's going on with her upper arms, are they meant to be on fire? She's being admirably stoic if so!

GeorgeMichaelsCat · 24/10/2026 09:08

OP was on the wine yesterday then🍷

Phrootbaht · 24/10/2026 09:26

Nah, Sir Granny does nothing for me.

Older women’s strengths and achievements can be better represented by showing older women’s strengths and achievements.
Framing them in masculine terms diminishes them.

And its shite “art” anyway.

OP has ripped this image from a website, here: https://primecarers.co.uk/private-carers/private-carer-insurance-essential-guide

It is a company called "Primecarers" that provides insurance cover.

OP has not given a link to the website. The image on the website is not attributed to any artist.

It looks very much like it has been AI generated.

What insurance does a private carer need?

What insurance does a private carer need?

Public liability insurance is the cover that matters day to day. Employing a carer directly needs your own £5 million policy too. What to check before booking.
