To start a Go Fund me for my ex Husband?

Money must be so tight for him poor man.

I just had the CMS calculation through and he apparently only earns £18k a year.

The extra cruelty for him is that he is working so hard that he regularly couldn't have the children at the last minute because of work, leaving me cancelling my plans.

And out of that £18,000 a year he is somehow financing a £40000 car he recently purchased and extensive renovations to his house. He doesn't come from a family with any money so he must be really struggling to manage his financial commitments.

I can't decide between a food bank referral or a Go Fund me....

Mine works in a industry that is notoriously "cash in hand". The kids talk about his big envelopes of money he keeps in his bedroom

Maybe they could accidentally bring one of them home with them

About £60k . And that was 10 years ago.

No idea - I don't follow him on SM

My ex didn’t pay a penny towards our daughter and didn’t see her at all. Luckily I didn’t need his money. I had a good relationship with his mother and, when she died, she halved his inheritance and left half to my daughter - I understand that he wasn’t too happy about that. Karma.

I am going to try and do so again. Last time he pulled this stunt to this extreme they weren't interested in investigating but hopefully the landscape has changed a bit since then

Sadly they turn a blind eye to so much cash in hand work. It's rife in DH industry.

Could you also add report his company for not paying minimum wage? I'm not sure who to - DWP?

Mine was dragging in 10k+ a week

(cash in hand and not in any way was a penny legal)

Refused to pay a penny for them and then gave up seeing them (it was all about spite and controlling me)

I never said a bad word about him to them but it's all my fault that as adults, they didn't walk the 3 miles to his house and fall at his feet while weeping about what a fab dad is was

Csa didn't want to know at the time-he lived on fresh air but drove a smart and expensive van and went on four 5* holidays a year

Apart from when he went to prison for 7 of those 16 years-they can't pay anything for their kids then (dd was 2 when we broke up,until she was 18)

If id have pulled the same stunts,id have been in the cell next to him-for longer (and id have been branded a terrible mother by the press)

Who knew that kids don't need feeding and clothing for years on end?

Oh,but we should feel sorry for him as just before he got sent down,he had his jaw broken

I hope you did it

We need to set up a Christmas appeal for this poor man, the thought of him facing the festive period cold hungry and alone is too much to bear.

He was drug dealing, not paying tax let alone for his kids

He pissed off someone up the chain and they battered him-he almost died (shame)

He knew i was struggling to feed and clothe the kids on the small amount of money I had and couldn't afford to heat the house but refused to help because 'she'll benefit from the heat too'

10k+ a week and he refused to spend on his kids in case I benefitted

Hes out now, still at his dodgy dealings and bragging about how he refused to pay for his kids

Doesn't seem to stop women swallowing this shite and falling at his feet

And share it with all his friends and family so they can see how much he is struggling to succeed in his career despite all the outward trappings of success

I wouldn’t normally encourage stealing but maybe one of those envelopes needs to magically disappear….

Your daughter went to her father’s and you had no idea where he lived?

She was 17 at the time.

Princessbananahamock · 20/10/2026 11:46

@Hesadick
You must have sent something out into the universe. I’ve had an email from Cms they have managed to get money out of a rock!!!

There are various options open to you with the CMS

You can start with a lifestyle that isnt compatible with his declared income

there are also issues around limited companies

Its a pity that the CMS & HMRC dont work together

Crikeyalmighty · 20/10/2026 12:23

You know a lot of these cash in handers/ earn as little as possible on paper types? Many of these are the same muppets voting Reform and going on about the country having gone to the dogs and poor services - despite the fact they contribute as little as they can get away with - like their kids , they seem to think country’s run themselves on fresh air .

I will be trying this route. Last time it got me nowhere but that was a while ago so hopefully they are a bit more interested these days
