Man urinating in park

Caramac045 · Yesterday 12:17

Maybe IABU because I feel quite unwell.
Dog still needed a walk. Thought there is a
bench around this hedge line, I’ll sit down for a bit. Not happy to see a man urinating up the hedge between the park and tennis club.
I didn’t feel comfortable to sit on the bench right by a man with his penis out.

I’m a mature woman who manages to not wee in the park.
This was a man probably in his 30’s, not an older chap with prostate issues. AIBU to think he should not have been doing this?

we once had a mystery phantom pooper who would poo in a rather high bin (like a flip top kitchen bin) in a fancy loo at work. It was like a home loo (it was an old hose) - quite a large room with loo/handbasin and large dustbin…

It was the Ladies but Facilities was adamant it was a rogue male…

I saw 2 men pissing on the M6 toll and the services were just down the road. They didn’t even ‘point their Percy’s’ away from passers by. They just stood there with their willy’s out for all to see. Disgusting pigs.

I caught a man pissing in a bush a few months back. It was on a very well used cycle track close to school home time. I gave him a dirty look and he told me to stop looking as if I was in the wrong! There is a pub literally a 3 minute walk away he could have used but no he had to go in public in broad daylight.

As has been said it is strange that is never women who do this despite pregnancy and women having smaller bladders. It definitely seems to be on up as everytime I go on the motorway I see a man pissing at the side of the road.

Lol, don't know where you live if you don't think women do this. Women do tend to be more discreet, I'll grant you that.

I once saw a woman pissing in a graveyard. While she wasn't literally pissing on a grave, she wasn't trying too hard to be discreet either. I thought it was so disrespectful.

I simply don't buy this "when you need to go, you need to go" nonsense.
Short of having health issues, why would any grown up need to pee outside, in a public park or street or some such place? As usual, it's always men who encounter these odd scenarios of having to go. Have they no common sense to go to the toilet before leaving the house? I firmly believe they don't bother because they know they have the option of a wild piss, wherever they so choose.

I have had an outdoor pee, once, when on a hike. In the middle of nowhere, after 4 hours of walking in the opposite direction from civilisation. I still went behind a bush and had my husband shield me with a jacket, in case a sheep was appalled at me.

Also, I'm mid-40s and have never had to spit in the street. Another thing men seem compelled to do.

You’ve never been desperate for a wee as an adult? Weird

‘Morning!’ you shouted.

’No, just having a piss’ came the reply.

The old ones are the best 😉.

Why isn’t there a laughing emoji? That cracked me up,

Men are fucking disgusting. At Richard Ashcroft at ally pally in the summer I got cautioned by police for screaming abuse at all the pissers in bushes. They had HUNDREDS of urinals as well as portals.

Disgusting.

OooPourUsACupLove · Yesterday 22:50

Who are all these women who see as many women pissing in public as men???

I think I've seen fewer than 10 women peeing in public in my entire life. I see a couple of men most days! There are walls where I live that I cross the street rather than walk in front of because they are literally urinals. The stench is awful.

I have fantasies of filming them and putting the footage on piss fetish sites. Might as well make some money from the filthy fuckers.

Grab your phone and take a pic.

He won’t come back.

Recently, I saw a man get out of his car, poke percy through the railings of a church and piss away. I was veg shopping opposite. It isnt what you want to see is it?

EmmaB1309 · Yesterday 23:27

Totally agree with you. The whole ‘if you need to go’ crap is nonsense. As you say, you don’t see women squatting to pee in public places. Unless it’s an emergency like the car is broken down and someone needs to go behind the trees or bushes while waiting for recovery service. And if you could see his penis I’m pretty sure that’s a crime.

catspyjamas1 · Today 00:17

Personally, having grown up in a 3rd world country where long journeys required relieving oneself outside was and remains the norm, this does not bother me. I've often thought about being a man and this function is number one on my list.

Not advocating for Kabul levels of "sanitation" - when you got to go, you got to go and would having the flexibility men have be so much easier?!

RichPetuniaAgain · Today 00:36

My male walking buddy always has to pee when out as he has diabetes. Finds a tree and I do lookout. If you need to go, be discreet. There's no need for tackle to be on show.

seahorsessky · Today 00:51

You're unreasonable to assume young people can't have problems. I've known of both men and women who do. If at all possible they use toilet/pads etc, and none of them have had to do it right next to someone-obviously he should have avoided that if at all possible.

Aydel · Today 00:56

There should be more public toilets though. Until recently I lived in a large village. The loos at the station were closed because they had had a flood and the loos in Waitrose were out of order. No loo in Tesco. Library not open. Costa won’t let you use their loo unless you’re a customer. What are you supposed to do? Luckily for me there was something going on at the village hall and I popped in there to use their loos.

Secretseverywhere · Today 01:11

I do think men tend to do this more than women. A lot of blokes will pee wherever but your average woman would have to be pretty desperate to urinate in public. The closure of public toilets have really exacerbated this, I think they’ve pushed more people to use alternatives like super market loos which have then sometimes closed meaning there arent facilities for miles.

Unless I know there is a decent loo I’d normally avoid drinking when out and about. Brutal in summer when it’s hot.

5foot5 · Today 01:16

I have voted YABU because I have often had to have wild wees myself, especially when out walking.

Public WCs just do not turn up when you need them.

Obviously it's easier for men. DH sometimes needs to inspect a tree. But if you need to go you need to go. Clearly most people would prefer proper facilities, but if you are desperate what else do you suggest?

viques · Today 01:22

I quite often see men pissing into the hedge bordering a local church. I always shout at them. I count it as one on my finest moments when I startled one of them so much that he jumped and peed all over himself. I live in hope that I can do that again.

Emaraldisland · Today 01:25

I know my aunt from quite a young age would quite often do a wild wee as if she needed to go she needed to go.
I know my husband also does but that's due to the nature of his job. He works outside and obviously uses public toilets if they're available but if not what's he supposed to do.
Having said that I think anyone having a wild wee should make a big effort to be discreet and if possible right in the bushes or something (not by a public bench).

Perhaps they’ll decide to piss up your front door next time. Would you prefer that?

No one is saying it’s ideal but being caught short is something that happens to all of us. Discreetly going up against a tree or in a bush in a field is a complete non-issue.

I so agree that we need more public lavatories but judging from the destructive behaviour at our local park, the public need to be respectful of public facilities too.

mumumental · Today 04:04

There are some odd people around. Last week I saw a couple stand patiently whilst their big dog peed up a pile of goods for sale outside a shop. I did tell them they were disgraceful to allow it but they just stared at me.

MrsShawnHatosy · Today 05:17

I once saw a woman peeing in some trees beside the car park at a motorway services. Didn’t think anything of it. The services was really busy and perhaps she simply couldn’t wait.

Sillyoldgit62 · Today 05:53

I have an enlarged prostate and the speed of needing to pee is seconds,I have to plan trips out around toilets. Its horrible,I’ve been caught out loads of times and had to wet myself because of the lack of toilets. The urge comes on so fast you don’t have time to open jeans ect,it only takes a dribble to ease the feeling but within seconds it can return.lack of public toilets is a big problem,if I have to go in public I try and hide as best as possible.
