Why would you hide over the counter medicine

Help me figure this out please. Why would my husband be hiding ibuprofen, two types of allergy tablets, gaviscon, deep heat, strepsils and athletes foot canestan. he doesn’t have any allergies. I’ve never known him to need gaviscon. AIBU for thinking it’s suspicious? If I ask him he will gaslight be anyway so I’m just trying to figure this out before I ask.

Mine are all in the cupboard otherwise they wonder off and I lose them all 😆

Why do people put these weird posts on and never check back? Is it some weird need for attention?

Is he a conspiracy theorist? He could be stockpiling medicines in case of a shortage should WW3 break out.

If he’s hiding them down the back of the sofa that would be odd, but if it’s a work bag, wash bag, bed side table or in a cupboard that’s not odd. Are you worried his affair partner has athletes foot?

I wouldn’t exactly hide these but it’s not exactly helping the magic by having athletes foot cream or thrush cream (love that they are the same thing) sitting out on a sideboard.

In any event, his medical precautions and issues are private matters. He does not have to share them with you or anyone else.

Is he keeping them out of reach for children?

All sound very boring and every day medicines to have in your home. I wouldn’t be surprised by anyone having them in their home. Maybe emergency supplies?!

What are the dates on these products? Is it stuff he's had for absolutely yonks that he doesn't need to use very often and has just hung onto them for years, since before you were married? We have various medications like that which you buy when you need them, don't always use it all so I end up clearing it out every few years. Depending on how long you've been together, it could be a stash of stuff brought with him from his younger years that just needs binning.

Just ask him to keep them in the normal medical storage place for your home.

growing up as teen I had to hide my meds as my parents didn't believe in medications or believe that my wheezing and tiredness were symptoms of anything but a sign of lazyness.
