AIBU to think many people of the UK lack confidence in the current government?

AIBU to think that the majority of people in the UK don't have any confidence in the current government, with an unelected Prime Minister at its' helm?

Would people be willing to vote on a petition to have a parliamentary debate on this matter, to encourage this government to have a snap General Election? This would give the people - the tax payers - as say in who is running the country. Democracy in action, if you will.

AIBU - people are happy with Labour and the unelected PM

YANBU - people have a democratic right to vote for who they want to run the country and right now, the majority don't have confidence in the current government.

Totally not true

I can’t think of anything worse than a batshit right wing government right now. Focusing on ALL the wrong things, cutting services, jingoism of ‘small boat’ rhetoric. Just, ugh.

Lack confidence is a slight understatement

Well that is predictable. The north will have plenty of money thrown at it as he has wanged on about it since he took the job. He doesn’t shut up about Greater Manchester.

If only he gave a shit about the rest of the country (or even realised it existed). There are bankrupt councils all round the country who won’t be fit to be devolved.

But it leaves him free to concentrate on what matters to him most. I’m sure other places will be like yours and everyone up there will think he’s great.

If I said I agree and I don’t think he’s great would that surprise you? He’s going to get a caning if he doesn’t stat to look past the NW but he doesn’t because he’s a bee network one trick pony.

Trust me when I say I hate labour and socialism with a passion. We’re been drunk on it for up here for years and it’s got us nowhere. I equally can’t stand London and the south west. The country needs more great cities mist decent countries with out GDP have more.

What I saw on Monday was different

Given that generally one third of the country don't vote at all, and of the two thrids that are left fewer than a half vote for the winning party.

The majority of people never trust the government no matter which party gets in.

Were you asking for petitions and a snap General Election when the Conservatives were changing Prime Ministers every five minutes? Or does the sudden concern about democracy only kick in when it’s a Labour government you don’t like?

LuckyHazelFox · Today 13:25

I don't have faith in any Labour government, no matter who's leading it.
