They are utter cowards and hypocritical. The same ilk will state they're against the burkha and protests by environmental groups etc. but are happy to mask their faces in 'protest' the reality is they're just nasty specimens of humanity, full of people with self righteous white supremacy tendencies. AIBU.

They cover their faces because speaking up about the uncontrolled invasion of unvetted fighting age men gets you tarred with the 'far right' brush.
It loses you your job. Gets you arrested.
How's that for freedom of speech?
Maybe if the government listened and acted the people wouldn't feel they had no choice.

...and those black people are ignored when they too air their worries. Imagine that - the people who condescend them actually showing their hand at using BAME as pawns.

It’s terrible for the black community settled here. It certainly hasn’t made their life easier.
My nieces partner was born here, he was told to go back home while minding his own business walking his dog.
I live in a very diverse community, you can see the impact that mass immigration has had since 2022 on the local Black community.

So how do you describe throwing fireworks at police and harassing Jewish people. How about harassing diners for eating in places that are considered Israeli sponsored?

Unacceptable intimidation and thuggish tactics. Are there also examples of widespread disruption to infrastructures though?

They don't deserve that. Those ignorant tossers ARE the racists.

You'd be better off asking Palestine Action Group that question.

Not a group or strategy I support.
Direct anything is in my view a slippery slope.

In their defence, at least they’re protesting about something that is happening right on the doorstep and affecting us all, rather than joining a another load of followers chanting and getting outraged about a conflict 2300 miles away in the Middle East that has been ongoing for decades that is neither impacting on their lives or putting pressure on our resources.

I have some sympathy with that, except that the reasons for migration amd for the decline of the British economy are global and we can’t easily separate them and decide which ones are our problem and which ones aren’t. A much bigger impact on all of us has been the rise of Chinese manufacturing. Maybe if they blocked the import of Chinese made goods?

I was born here, but am from an immigrant community. I agree action needs to be taken on illegal immigration. But not like the clowns in black, many of whom simply don't like anyone foreign.
I was raising the point about professional codes of practice and ethics. If the Nigerian professionals that someone posted about are real, they have opened themselves up to losing their careers.

But not like the clowns in black, many of whom simply don't like anyone foreign.
I find that hard to believe as I live in an area that is very diverse, with a lot of people who would be considered far right in regards to illegal immigration, the same people chat to their neighbours who were once immigrants, all the children play together, we help each other, if any child uses racist language their whipped and made apologise.
The teenage groups have all different backgrounds, some are Eastern European, Nigerian, South African, Indian, Irish, they all hang around together kicking a ball, they are bro’s.
It is not the same as the families who arrived seeking a new life.

Was it immigrants telling him to ‘go home’ then? Or people whose ‘legitimate concerns’ have made it impossible for them to not be racist? It’s pretty weak sauce to blame immigrants for racism and the fact you do that rather than condemn the racist is quite telling. Shall we go back to interning the Irish because we can’t tell the difference between paramilitaries and regular people?

That's what I grew up in, an immigrant community from lots of different parts of the world. And it was great, and it still informs how I see the world, and how I want to live.
But amongst the clowns yesterday, there will have been many out-and-out prejudiced people who (however they have arrived at this view) don't like or want foreigners in the UK. I've seen it in action, and experienced the prejudice personally.

Were the people in balaclavas all women or males under 18 or over 50, with clean records, then? Perhaps they should have shown their faces and waved their DBS checks so no one in Dover had to worry about unvetted fighting age men crowding round their vehicles.

No it was uneducated feral teenagers who told him to go home.
Unfortunately these types live in every country.

During the war it was probably wise to be careful around the Irish if you were English, as for internship, funny that they can manage this for their Irish citizens yet the newcomers who come with a risk get a hotel bed. How times have changed.

Its difficult to tell when you're covered head to toe in black isnt it?

Girls have to work twice as hard as other girls who are not living in a wc environment. They have to change mannerisms, accent, learn big words that they’re unfamiliar with, hear about books etc that they never read.

WC boys can be successful and many are when they have supportive families.

They naturally will surpass a wc girl working at the same level.

The wc boys who are extremely disadvantaged are from irresponsible homes, poverty, drug abuse, no curfew, allowed to smash other peoples property from a young age.

You get what you put in with kids, if you can keep them away from the gangs. It’s generational abuse.

Sure, and the same is true for black and brown girls who succeed - never heard of code switching? The barrier is class, not race, though not being white does make it harder to hide your roots. Of course being successful means learning new words and reading unfamiliar books - why would you object to that? We’re not born knowing the law or anatomy or physics.

Yes, a supportive home and form boundaries makes a difference. If white working class families fail to do that how is it the fault of black and brown families?

I’m confused by this part ‘WC boys can be successful and many are when they have supportive families.
They naturally will surpass a wc girl working at the same level.’

You’re saying boys are naturally more intelligent than girls? Or something else?

Come on, you know as well as I know that men are offered better opportunities in the corporate world than women, it is changing slowly but gender preferences very much exist.
It’s nothing to do with intelligence, women have been painted as emotional beings or potential will take maternity leave.

Right, so a teenage dickhead shouts racist abuse at a member of your extended family, and you blame immigration, not the teenage dickhead? How does that make sense?

And thank god times have changed and we don’t imprison people for being Irish, eh? Instead we allow the people of both countries unfettered access across the border.

Great that we agree then.

If you’re talking about corporate opportunities I agree. But we were talking about poor attainment by working class boys - they won’t be getting corporate opportunities, that’s the whole point.

No, but when a face is completely covered by a veil or mesh screen, it limits non-verbal feedback, which can create uncertainty or discomfort in interpersonal interactions. We live in a society where public interactions depend on mutual visibility. Human communication relies heavily on reading facial expressions, eye contact, and subtle emotional signals.

You'll probably find if you visit certain Muslim countries, they would find the fact you are displaying flesh as equally as disturbing and unsettling. The difference is in those countries you would be expected to conform, whereas in the West, there is a choice.

Acceptance isn’t always a one way street.

You are actually painful.
You could twist a log.
The teenage dickhead who shouted racist abuse was racist before the mass immigration 2022.
Some families are racist, therefore the children will be racist.
The lack of government concern or control is furling the problem. That’s just how it is.
