If they cannot survive on a state pension they should have made better plans for their retirement income shouldn’t they.

If people of working age can't survive on their salaries, with FT NMW being more then twice higher than state pension they should work more, shouldn't they?

And pensioners don't need clothing or transport apparently.

Pensioners have a bus pass. They should use it. And no, I don’t know many pensioners who need clothes like kids do.

The crippling cost the young face is housing. So many older adults really struggle to comprehend quite how much housing costs now compared to previously.
