AIBU to question Farage and Reform’s silence on Middlesbrough violence?

Why hasn't Farage commented on what has happened in Middlesborough? Does he not care that innocent people, including a child and police officers have lost their lives? Could it be that he sees the people involved in this gang related violence as his potential voter base? Or that he doesn't care about the police, his previous actions suggest that he doesn't. It's quite sinister that Reform have had nothing to say about this. It suggests they don't want to offend the mindless thugs. Yet, mindless thugs are a huge part of what is wrong with this country.

Without doubt if the perpetrators hadn't been white he would have been all over the story!

I reported the poster who tried to imply that you were a shill, OP. It certainly takes one to know one!

Funnily enough, threads critical of Reform seem to attract the attention - and interference - of malign actors. Wonder why.

Funnily enough, the numerous threads critical of Reform always attract the same pitchfork mentality.

I'm quite local to the A66 and the trouble that's followed the crash this week (I know the fire wasn't related, but another absolutely horrendous incident regardless) and there is generally a lot of feeling that immigrants are the problem in our area, and responsible for what goes wrong, for poverty and decline, and reform was getting a voice here, playing into that and building on it.

Obviously this incident shows that actually we have home grown problems that have fuck all to do with immigrants and that doesn't fit the narrative of Reform does it? I've noticed the local Gobshites on SM usually spouting bollocks about immigration are suspiciously quiet too following this. I doubt even Farage is deluded enough to think that the people involved in these incidents vote, but a lot of people affected by their actions do, and if they're anything like me they're going to vote for whoever takes action and actually coughs up the resources to sort out the mess this area is in properly, I mean we shouldn't need 200 extra officers from other forces, we should bloody well have had enough to deal with it before it hit this stage, we shouldn't need petitions and letters to government requesting enough resources to tackle the problems, for the police and fire services, they should already be available, because decent, hard working people live in this area, and they're paying the price of this, right across their lives. But no one really gives a shit about it, including reform.

Thanks for your insight. If Reform actually cared about any of these sorts of issues they would be advocating for the police, but they appear to do the very opposite at every turn.

I reckon with the amount of Farage threads, it's the thread starters who are more infatuated with race than Farage.

What do you have to actually add though? You criticise anyone who attacks Farage or Reform, but you never actually provide a defence. Is it because Farage and Reform are indefensible and you know you will be laughed at if you try to do so?

But they never keep their mouths shut when it's non-white people causing trouble?

If only they would keep them shut permanently.

Nothing that man or his sycophantic loser chums say will ever be of interest to me.

Have they said anything about the Ann Widdecombe murder? She was a Reform MP wasn’t she? The only tributes I ever saw was from Jeremy Vine, maybe it didn’t come through my newsfeed.

Farage went very quiet around the time all people wanted to discuss was his £5mil and the only person
who wanted a conversation with him was a bin 😂.

he dug a hole and is now sat sulking in it.

He did a photo opportunity at the time, but other than that, zilch.

Yeah he’s just gone to ground hasn’t he. Directly he had his life threatened and the 5mil cash grab shone a spotlight on him further he’s just kept his head down.
