There’s been a summer bug going around the office and I can feel the beginnings of a cold. Pressure in my sinuses, a slightly stuffy nose, scratchy throat.

I go on the holiday of an absolute lifetime in a little over two weeks. I need to kill this bug now, please give me every single tip possible! Even your most unhinged, I cannot be unwell for this trip and I cannot travel poorly. Help!

Omega 3 supplements. I used to get one cold per month plus flu in winter. Started omega 3 capsules 15 years ago, not one cold or flu since... ever

Well the best defence is avoid anyone sneezing on you, wash your hands often and especially before eating or touching your mouth

Zinc tablets

Large amounts of vit D, vit C and zinc. Constant handwashing, especially after touching door handles or other surfaces that many people touch.
Avoid stuffy rooms.
If you can avoid going in meeting rooms at the office, especially small, windowless ones, have your meetings outside or in an open plan space. Or keep the door open?
Wfh if at all possible….
