The only way that this can possibly have an adverse effect on your child's education is if they lose respect for their teachers after being exposed to unsavoury gossip. And let's face it, it's not the head and the teacher who are indulging in unsavoury gossip, is it? It's you! Any damage to your child's moral education will be done by you.

They're people like anyone else. As Cory says, it's the children's viewpoint which is important.
It happened at a school near here; very evangelical born again head, had an affair with deputy; the kids all knew, some parents felt there should be resignations the ex husband wept to other parents.
