I am actually horrified. A third, Muslim, man was stabbed in the attack but he isn’t being mentioned anywhere. How is this allowed?!

Metropolitan Police (@metpoliceuk) on X

A man will appear in court today charged following a Counter Terrorism Policing investigation into two men stabbed in #GoldersGreen: https://t.co/BgK04EQmyX

Why would someone be getting blown up?

Because he was wearing a padded jacket on a very warm day so it wouldn't be unreasonable to suspect he was concealing a suicide vest or explosives.

People's responses to this post are so confusing: surely, a man that stabs 3 people in one day is clearly mentally very unstable. By not mentioning his first victim, you are making his crimes soley racial and not because of mental health issues.

I think as someone earlier posted when you get school shooters in America who have also killed their family previous to the school attack, the school attack takes precedence in mention, where as the killing of family is an also event.

It was a teeny weeny little knife. Unnecessary overkill by the police. Even if it was a samurai sword they weren't justified in kicking a tasered man in the head

I hope you’re being sarcastic

We have, as always, to be careful about stats. There is credible evidence that attacks on Muslims are vastly under-reported.

How do you know that attacks on Jews aren’t also underreported?

Winederlust · 02/05/2026 17:03

tulippetals · 02/05/2026 10:17

So you don’t find it suspicious that the third victim is being entirely erased because it paints a very different picture?

It's quite obviously evidenced from this thread that he hasn't been erased though?

Nice to see someone keeping count. Must have confused him with all the other posts to me that have been deleted.

Edited

To be fair you should be the one keeping count if you're going to throw allegations around.

I suspect that you wouldn’t find it quite so teeny if you’d been attacked with it. It caused serious injuries to two men and injuries to another man. It can still maim and kill. Until that knife is away from him and until he is fully secured he is still very much a threat. And yes he had been tasered but he was still a threat. And tasers do not always work or deliver full power. There are videos of people being tasered multiple times and they still continue their attack so until he relinquished that knife and was handcuffed he remained a threat.

This man also has previous history of violent attacks. I am sick of this media narrative

He was specifically known to Prevent, which is a counter terrorism (aka religious or political extremism) programme.

She doesn't. She appears to be minimising the reports as well.

The thread is about the third victim. Denying that is absurd..

No it isn’t.
The thread was started claiming the third victim had been ignored and trying to push some conspiracy theory.
Many posters have clearly shown the third victim was not ignored and that they believe the op is posting in bad faith.
I have no idea where the hell you are getting your ideas from.

MurkyMo · 02/05/2026 17:10

PatriciaRocks · 02/05/2026 16:59

Right. So you would easily have disarmed him without a scratch, yeah?

Well I wouldn't be kicking him in the head!

Yes it’s this kind of out of place clothing that police are trained to spot, yet still the police subdued him without regard for their own safety

HoldingTheDoor · 02/05/2026 17:12

MurkyMo · 02/05/2026 17:10

Well I wouldn't be kicking him in the head!

And how exactly would you get the knife from him? Ask him nicely?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 02/05/2026 17:13

When the BBC published the ("Biggest national emergency since covid") quote, their article immediately noted that the Home Secretary had since clarified that the current wave of antisemitic incidents did not infact qualify as a national security emergency

Of course the Home Secretary did - if they'd accepted it was any sort of emergency that would require them to do something about it, and clearly the only thing they intend to do is spout platitudes

MurkyMo · 02/05/2026 17:14

loislovesstewie · 02/05/2026 17:11

What would you have done then?

Whatever I was trained to do as a police officer which would not be repeatedly kicking him in the head

Hoardasurass · 02/05/2026 17:14

BrownTroutBluesAgain · 02/05/2026 16:37

I would act within the law and not kick their head in whilst they are already on the ground being tasered
Any other methods are pure brutality
That’s the police standards in the U.K. and we should never ever accept anything less

You keep pushing this police brutality nonsense when the fact is its not, it's standard tactics for this type of situation and are well within the law.
You may not like those tactics but they work and are used by police and military world wide when they dont want to shoot an attacker or as in this case when the police officers are unarmed.
Had armed police officers been at the sceen he would have been shot in the head

Murky Mo reminds me of the kind of 8 year old boy who describes how they would fly through the air and ninja drop an assaillant. Or a unfit beer-drinking footie spectator banging on about how he could have scored that goal...

Whysnothingsimple · 02/05/2026 17:16

I’m wondering if some people have been brainwashed to such an extent that their brains simply can’t process the rampant nature of antisemitism in this country so the grasp on to any explanation they can find on SM which keeps their world in tact, no matter how ludicrous or obvious the lies.

The government need to step in and wipe the lies off the internet, prosecute the liars and ensure the public are educated as to facts.

MurkyMo · 02/05/2026 17:14

So if they are told that is a valid method in situations like this what would you do? How would you restrain a man who was holding a knife in his hand, where that hand was under his body, and when you had a reasonable suspicion that he had an explosive device under his coat? And that explosive device might kill you and others.
