Hi, I was our shopping etc, and I saw a van that said that refrigeration services were available.

”007 REFRIGERATION.. licensed to chill”

It made me smile, and it got me wondering if any others had spotted an eye catching slogan.

Several years ago Milletts had a sign “Tis the winter of our discounted tents” which I thought was great.

😅😁

I've travelled a bit in India, and some of the road signs to encourage non-shit driving are amusing. "Road is hilly, don't be silly," "Safety on road, safe tea at home" and "After whisky, driving risky" are the ones I can remember.

I do love this fairly recent trend of trade specific cherish plates.
Theres a building comp y near us that has one on every vehicle, but they’re not very exciting. The best was one I saw a couple of years back- a sewerage tanker that had POO as the last three letters.

There’s a bakery company in my area that has named all its trucks in a nice curly font on each cab. Off the top of my head there’s; Breaddy Mercury, Marylin Bunroe, Jennifer Loafez, and Bread Pitt.

For some reason, it seems to be 'a thing' for local authorities' gritter trucks to have amusing names - often put to the public vote.

Some of my favourites are Spreadie Mercury, Snow Be Gone Kenobi, Gritty Gritty Bang Bang, Slush the Magic Wagon, Gritter Thunburg, Gritney Spears and Usain Salt!

You often see 'Twenty is plenty' signs in this country. The mischievous part of me always wants to add "But a ton is more fun"!

Seen a couple of places with buses having plates 'X1 BUS', 'X2 BUS' etc, where X is the initial of the city.

I think those are the Scottish ones? There’s even a tracker app for them. 😄
