It really isn't. He's sent her a picture and added the heart emoji as his message. The heart is not a reaction, it's the message.

he has sent you a screenshot of an image he had sent to someone else. In that message he put a heart emoji with the photo too.

What he’s done:

He’s sent a screenshot to you via WhatsApp. That’s all obvious.

The screenshot shows:

Boyfriend (BF) receiving a message from Unknown person (UP). If he sent it to someone else it would sit on the right side of the screen, not the left.

UP has sent a picture of BF, to BF. Followed by a heart emoji. On what looks like Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger or iMessage.

BF has then screenshotted this. And sent it to you on WhatsApp.

Shut up. This is a picture the BF has sent the OP and has captioned it with a heart. As in, he added the heart with the picture. It’s on the left because he sent it to her. She’s receiving it.

He hasn’t, it’s because you’ve clicked on the image to enlarge it and it’s showing the OP’s original post with the image underneath the enlarged image.
So from what you can see, both images will have OP’s boyfriend blocked out with the large white box, that’s OP blocking him out for Mumsnet, he wouldn’t have screenshotted blocking himself out and sending a selfie of his arm.

The heart is a caption he added before sending the OP a photo of his presumably naked body. Thank you for covering it with a fridge OP. I think the volume is hers, from when the OP screenshotted it to share on here.

And apps have slightly different versions depending on your phone. iPhones are different to android so we will have our arrows for forwarding in slightly different places or other features depending on our phone and even whether we’ve got the same version updated.

In fb messenger I see that arrow and it throws me overtime, it looks forwarded but it just shows I've sent the photo (not forwarded - one I just took). Now I’m going to have to look at all my other messaging apps to see how they look 🤯🙄
