How many and what type of specifically Easter based things do you do?

Church, but we do that most Sundays! Hot cross buns. Easter eggs. We’ve got some decorations. That’s it really.

Whatever comes up to fill the holidays! We usually do some Easter based crafts, like egg painting, bonnet making and so on. Then I organise a hunt on the Sunday for eggs which ends with their Easter baskets. I'll also do a full roast dinner and splash out on nice lamb. This year, we're planning a trip to Springland and the Catalyst Museum for a chocolate themed event.

None! My dc are 17 and 20 now, but we never really did anything but Easter eggs. Lots of the things people have mentioned aren't really Easter-specific - they are things we would have done on some weekends at any time of the year.

I converted to Orthodoxy a while ago and therefore observe a lot of the traditions both in terms of the religion and also culturally. We attend church for at least one service (there are many in the run up) but I LOVE the midnight service on Easter Saturday/Sunday and the symbolism of the candles and lights. Anyway, after that, we get together to have food as Orthodox fast from a lot during Lent. There are the eggs in bread baskets that you smash together (a bit like conkers where the unsmashed egg is the winner) which the kids love to do, different types of Easter food and generally being together with family as it is as big as Christmas for Orthodox. In the villages, there are many other traditions which differ slightly on the area /region. My kids also get chocolate Easter eggs and join in with hunts etc.

Not at all, was just asking a normal question and had some sarky replies

You didn’t get sarky replies, people just answered your question (which didn’t specify that it was for parents with young children). For most people nowadays, if they don’t have kids of the age when Easter egg hunts are a big thing, Easter celebrations = eating chocolate eggs and taking advantage of the long weekend to see friends and family.
In the past we’ve done egg decorating with our Bulgarian friends - it’s a big thing over there.
