To eat 2 week out of date cottage cheese

Just went to open my tub of cottage cheese (all things cottage cheese brand if you haven’t tried it - it’s delicious!) - but just realised it’s two weeks out of date (previously unopened). I want to still eat it for dinner but husband nervous - what do you think? Still looks / smells normal I think, although now I’m doubting myself! It was expensive so don’t really want to waste it xx
