Just seen AMW has been released under investigation. This is all going to come to nothing. It'll be a whitewash. How depressing.

Staff to wait on him hand and foot -unlikely, the King has told staff that they do not have to work for him. His staff from Royal lodge have been let go as they either a) didn’t want to work with him anymore b) move to Norfolk.
Marsh farm is too small to support any sort of staff and whatever ‘help’ he gets AMW will have to finance them himself. He will badly need a butler or a valet anymore will he.

I personally have always thought that AMW should be treated like any other person would be. I believe the hounding of him has been at times vindictive, innocent until proved guilty is so important . I find it strange that AMW and PM are the only than GM who have lost something. I don’t bribe it’s in the public interest to investigate given the face there are so many other pressing concerns.

and it’s not because he’s been released after a day’s questioning. It is because nothing will ever touch an individual of royal blood in this country. It is all a show. And this is an enquiry about state secrets really. Extremely serious.

Actually I think they should have kept him for the full 72 and repeatedly questioned him. There’s no way he’s given up all the info he knows in that time.

He has not been arrested for any sexual charges. He's been arrested for misconduct in public office relating to feeding govt information during the banking crisis

I know that. I was answering the poster who said he will never go to prison. What of evidence of the alleged sexual crimes come to light?
