Harry Styles concert

With an early teens teenager - yes or no?
Do you think it’ll be a good show?
I think yes, husband thinks I’ve lost my mind (doesn’t actually care if I go but thinks it’s funny that I want to and can’t understand why).
Don’t want to ask teenager before I decide myself whether I think it’s worth the cost, in case she says yes and on reflection I decide against it….

Does she like Harry Styles?
If so, I think it would a really fun thing for you two to do!

Fizbosshoes · 18/02/2026 19:01

Yes!
What is potentially unreasonable about it.??

Prepare for an enormous crowd/queue and long wait getting out but otherwise what's not to like?

Nomedshere · 18/02/2026 19:01

I went 2 years ago with dh...we were 65! Loved it!

EmmaSummerHat · 18/02/2026 19:04

Would love to see him live! If your daughter wants to go then why not? 😃 If she doesn’t see if a friend will go with you. Don’t miss it if you want to go

bookworm14 · 18/02/2026 19:05

Go for it. I’m going with my tween in June - can’t wait!

socks1107 · 18/02/2026 19:06

I’m going - with my adult daughters! We can’t wait def book the tickets

DowntonCrabby · 18/02/2026 19:06

If they like the music I’d take any age of child.
We’ve taken our children to big concerts from about 4.

I saw HS at Murrayfield in, it must have been 2023/24 with SIL and DD18 (at the time) and saw loads of under 10’s and many many teenage girls. Everyone had a great time and there was no trouble at all. HS’ crowd are unlikely to be hugely rowdy/drunk.

It was a bloody nightmare to get out at the end, as with a lot of gigs, and took ages but that was the only issue.

What are your husband’s actual concerns?

whatnexxt · 18/02/2026 19:11

If they like Harry Styles, yes. If not, no.

FIFIBEBE · 18/02/2026 19:14

Move heaven and earth to get there, you will love it. Have a good exit plan and know how you are getting home.

BiscoffCheesecakes · 18/02/2026 19:15

Yes if she likes him. My dd2's favourite singer (mine too!) is Conan Gray & we went to see him in 2024. She was 15 then. She also went to see Olivia Rodrigo with dd1 last year. Had a great time both times

Shamesame · 18/02/2026 19:16

I am a pretty diehard indie alternative rock girl and have been to hundreds of gigs. The Harry Styles one in 2023 was easily in my top 5.

StedSarandos · 18/02/2026 19:23

Of course it will be worth it. In our family there's an age range of 10yrs, teens to 50's going to see HS. Wembley is a great venue, try and get north side seats so the setting sun doesn't get in your face. Harry is a brilliant entertainer.

Possibly even a better runner though.

FuzzyWolf · 18/02/2026 19:24

If you both like concerts and are Harry Styles fans, then I’m sure you’ll have a fun time.

Bedroomdilemmas113 · 18/02/2026 22:48

Sorry should have explained better. No concerns about actual concerts, have taken her to a few!
Husband is bemused at the idea of dropping over £1k on seeing HS (only hospitality tickets left).
We spent a small fortune on Beyoncé and I’ll be honest, the atmosphere wasn’t great (her latest one, with the country theme and lots of political undertones) whereas I expected it to be amazing like the historic Beyoncé stuff. So my question was more whether HS is still lively, upbeat and likely to be a good party atmosphere or whether I’ve missed a Beyoncé style complete change for him too.

I just explained my question very badly, sorry!

I wouldnt spend 1k on a concert for 2 people (my ticket was about 75, my train ticket will probably be less than a tenner and ill probably spend another £20-25 on overpriced food or drink.)
The last concert i went to of his was a few years ago and it was great, not political at all

However without knowing your budget its impossible to say. There might be more reasonably priced resale tickets nearer the time.

labradorservant · 18/02/2026 23:22

Yes. He’s fab. In my top 5. Better than Taylor 🤫

PinkDreamer · 18/02/2026 23:28

Where are you looking for tickets? There’s loads of tickets available which aren’t hospitality tickets so are far last than £1000. Granted some dates have more available than others

justgottadoit · 18/02/2026 23:30

i went with my then aged 15 DD to Wembley 3 years ago (was it 3!!! ). HS is awesome and we both loved it. One of the best gigs I’d seen for a while. He had a mostly female band, most people were dressed in glittery outfits or feather boas, 4 people were dressed as the Teletubbies (!), another in a baked bean can costume (🤣), it was a beautiful sunny evening and we have very happy memories of it. £1k is a lot of money to spend on tickets, but if you have the funds, do it!

StedSarandos · 18/02/2026 23:35

There are plenty of decent tickets left. You don't need to spend 1k.
We sit in the "restricted" view seats and still have a great view.

PullTheBricksDown · 18/02/2026 23:43

I would go if she's a fan and make a night of it, book a hotel etc. But sign up to the Twickets alerts for all the dates you could manage and look out for resale tickets. There will be a rush of them very near the date, as in 3 days before and less, if you can hold your nerve and you'll get a better deal.

lastchancesalmon · 19/02/2026 00:08

Saw Harry 2 years ago with teen daughters. None of us real fans but we loved the show and have booked for this tour. We have ended up with more tickets than we need because of the way they went on sale - got tickets for earlier dates and then later for the added dates which suit us better so we will have tickets to sell, and I wouldn’t be surprised if others are in the same position so it might be worth waiting for resale tickets.

whatnexxt · 19/02/2026 05:53

In light of your update, absolutely not. There is no way I would pay that kind of money for a concert. Paying more for better seats, fair enough, but spending over a thousand pounds to see a rich artist perform? Fuck that.

StarlitSea · 19/02/2026 06:06

Don’t spend so much. I guarantee that people will be selling theirs nearer the time. I have some that I will be selling back to Ticketmaster as soon as I can, as my daughter is going on a different date with a friend now. And I def don’t want to go!

PeloMom · 19/02/2026 06:18

I agree with you in the Beyoncé s last concert - what a waste of $$$$$! However I think she’s an outlier. I went to many others after ( although not HS) and they were as expected and good

JMSA · 19/02/2026 06:41

It’s not for me but my teen has seen him twice and LOVED it. She described it as ‘life-changing’ 😁
