I'm at a loss to understand the reasoning that ends up with those opposed to the genocide in Gaza being anti-Semitic.
The Hamas action on 7/10 was an absolute outrage and I condemn it unreservedly, but the Israeli government's response has been completely disproportionate imo.
The "official" death toll, accepted by Israel, is now over 70k, but many organisations believe the actual figure is far higher, some believe by as much as 40% higher. And humanitarian organisations working in the field estimate that a third of those are children.
To put the "official" figure into context, the UK population is just nudging 70m, compared to Gaza's 2m, so 70k deaths in Gaza is the equivalent of around 2.4m in the UK.
There is nothing anti-Semitic about being opposed to the wholesale slaughter of women, children and civilians imo.
