Bullying claim at work

ThisSunnyWriter · 07/02/2026 12:22

Bullying claim put in at work about a manager.

Absolutely not substance and worried how it's going to affect team morale.

Any words of wisdom?

ohyesido · 07/02/2026 12:22

Is it against you?

99pwithaflake · 07/02/2026 12:24

Could you be any less vague?

BrokenWing · 07/02/2026 12:25

Assuming you are neither the manager or the complainant simply keep out of it and continue as normal, avoid gossiping about it. If you are asked about it by HR answer factually and do not repeat the conversation to others.

Evaka · 07/02/2026 12:26

Lol. What have you been up to OP?

OriginalSkang · 07/02/2026 12:26

If you spoke in complete sentences this might be easier to understand

ExtraOnions · 07/02/2026 12:26

Follow the process.. to the letter.

MyLimeGuide · 07/02/2026 12:27

I doubt it will impact anything except that manager, and everyone else will now be wary of the troublemaker that reported him/her.

Anewsyrup · 07/02/2026 12:31

I hope your complaint is a damn sight clearer than your OP if the complaint has been made by yourself.

chunkyBoo · 07/02/2026 12:36

Sorry too vague

greencheetah · 07/02/2026 12:50

What? Can you explain more fully?

ThisSunnyWriter · 07/02/2026 14:52

Apologies. I was trying to be vague but it didn't work.

It's not me, it's a manager but a subordinate.

I can't imagine how the manager must feel

OP posts:
ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 07/02/2026 14:55

There's vague - and then there's impossible to understand. Your post is the latter.

A complaint has been made against a manager by someone they manage?

Is the manager your manager or someone you manage?

Why do you feel sorry for the manager?

ThisSunnyWriter · 07/02/2026 15:00

Apologies. I was trying to be vague but it didn't work.

It's my manager who I share

Still no clearer
your subordinate?!

anywya if a complaint has been put in then the process needs to be followed
unless it directly affects you, then you need to leave well alone

Oh, don't be such a bootlicker.

Your manager will have to deal with it, might be difficult but it is what it is.

What makes you so sure there's no substance to it anyway?

Gazelda · 07/02/2026 15:14

so you’re neither the person being complained about, nor the person doing the claiming.

The only professional thing to do is to stay completely out of it.

As @BrokenWingsays, if you’re called into the investigation then you answer factually.

Do not talk about this with anyone.

Because we work full time in the office and I see everything. One person is incompetent..

She's likely to leave
