I like her and think Brooklyn’s recent posts are awful.

I was looking on YouTube today and a video came up of her over the years, mainly with the spice girls and when younger. She was so funny, so cheeky and seemed so strong & confident. She did full, proper smiles and laughs, so nice to see.
Totally different to now, is it just age and we were all probably more like that in our youth?

How did we get to discussing this?

Agree, part Irish and think it’s ridiculous

Because somebody who probably has blue hair took offence. Oh, Jesus- apologies to Marge Simpson. Goodnight, sweet ladies*- oh Jesus, I'm assuming you're all ladies! Laters xxxx

*Hamlet. Not Othello, because it's racist😂😂😂

Sorry but this sounds really dumb. Back track a bit, when something has prejudicial origins and someone tells you they’re offended by it the nice respectable thing to do is take it on board, not argue the toss with them.

40 years ago people were telling Asians not to be offended by p and black people not to be offended by n*

Think of your comments in that context. Don’t fight for your right to offend, it won’t age well.

My right to offend?! I spent a significant part of my 30- year working life defending colleagues who were being discriminated against on the account of race.
Whilst people like you and others argue over trivial semantics, REAL racism is thriving!

How do people know he has cheated throughout his marriage. Surely there would be stories. They would make a fortune.

Wasn’t he renowned for super injunctions?

There have been loads, and loads of stories in the papers. 25 years worth.

Nothing really specific in recent years. A PP said super injunctions don’t wield the power they once did.

Of course it's relevant! Would you have risked your job defending a colleague who had been racially abused by a client? I did. I've literally put my money where my mouth is,which is why I get so frustrated with keyboard warriors being outraged by such things as the word 'paddy', when used to describe a temper tantrum.
It's trivial, irrelevant nonsense. And I'm half Irish.
Better go cast my green Irish eyes over my KKK application form.

Goodness who’s paying you to defend / minimise DB’s shagging around? Even he doesn’t try defending it - in fact new strategy is to admit it (RL affair at least) which they both talk candidly about on NF.

Rebecca Loos explained how he ‘cheated’ on her 2 weeks after their first shag where he told her that he had never ever done this before! And VB went to the media about it ‘not being a sending off offence’ with another woman in his early career.

So all 3 above are facts. All the others are rumours - Harpers teacher, the aristocratic DJ which invoked BB and VB.

Quite a nasty long term pattern of sexually incontinent behaviour - why would you think that there hasn’t been any more recent shagging around when past behaviours are the most accurate predictor of current / future behaviours?

And even if there hasn’t been any recent shagging around - why would the toll of all of that not be heavy on VB and their DCs. Many women stay after been cheated on ‘for the DCs’ and finally leave a decade later even when no further shagging around because the marriage and trust was shattered and they’ve been trying to hold it together but their gut and heart just can’t accommodate it even if their head, logistics and society can.

But had that colleague been Irish offended by paddy you would’ve laughed at them, and compared them to marge simpsons hair, so you weren’t that great at defending colleagues after all

My personal theory is that in recent years DB has moved onto affairs with women who understand the assignment- rumoured Alexa Chung/ Mary chartlis- who also have a lot to lose by being exposed and nothing to gain from selling a story.

he's just got better and more disconcerting.

add to that selling stories is worth nothing money wise (and tabloids are less interested in buying them anyway) and the internet keeps your sexy story alive forever - it’s less appealing to anyone to “expose” an affair with a famous person.

Wirrrrrral · 31/01/2026 12:29

This is a wonderful watch of a gorgeous young woman, deeply in love, fulfilled with her marriage, children and lifestyle. She’s incredibly wise and gracious. It’s such a sad situation that her deal with the devil (DB, money, fame) has left her drained, tormented, brittle. Not the same person at all.

If true, could this point to an open marriage? Possibly a grudging ‘just sex & no feelings’ one on VB’s part? NB: Lilly Allen (?)

The reason all the serial cheating rumours in recent years doesn’t ring true for me is VB is generally NOT one to be messed with. She’s feisty, a successful career woman & was seen whacking DB around face when the Loos story emerged. That said don’t we all know a strong woman who are anything but with undeserving men they love?

Also, if he really couldn’t help himself, like a dog on heat & had a revolving door of affairs with randoms, even with NDAs, I feel something solid would have leaked in the last ten years or so.

No. I believe she is just worn down. Smacking someone in the face is easier *1000000 than divorcing them.

I can imagine her being the type of 25 year old who would take the attitude “I was so angry I smacked him one, he won’t be doing that again!” But not taking into account the clear information in front of her, which was that DB doesn’t give a shit. She can think she’s being hard arse but without clear action- divorce- he knows he can do what he wants.

its a long relationship, behaviours and norms build over time. She quickly realised punishing him, shouting at him, drama with him didn’t stop him. Over time she’s maybe given up and takes the avoidance and denial route. Or as you say, maybe even acceptance.

it’s possible/ likely that he’ll stop when he’s old too. It takes a real determination to be shagging around at 65

Tom Bower names 8 separate women that DB has had affairs with - alongside one night stands and involvement with sex workers in his book.

The Beckhams have chosen not to sue TB - why?

His sexually incontinent behaviour is consistent with many wealthy, powerful, egotistical, arrogant and entitled men.

Plenty of opportunities and an infrastructure that supports, protects and hides this behaviour as they are all on his payroll (including his wife and children).

We have all come across his type. Rebecca Loos who worked in sports management for many years describes how there are some men who scan the room, shake your hand and hold eye contact in a certain way - and DB was one of these. I don’t think he was necessarily predatory but most certainly flirtatious and giving the green light that he was always up for it. I doubt he had to try too hard.

Not with the little blue pills and an insatiable ego to stroke.

I do wonder if N PB got the creeps from him? Not that he necessarily made a move but that his eyes / hands would linger? He’s entitled, arrogant and ignorant enough to believe this would be acceptable. His behaviour with his daughter is questionable (tho seems to have got the memo now) - a bit like Prince Andrew sliding his hand down Eugenies back and cupping her arse. No boundaries.

Goodness. You’re not wrong. The love of money really is the root of all evil.

She has the most fantastic legs here (especially as she’s not very tall) & shines with health & girl-next-door prettiness. Witty & charming. Michael seems very taken. Pre plastic surgery here too. He does mention she’s getting old though! Even as a joke…

I wonder if the desire to be upper middle class is responsible for fragility & unhappiness in part? As you move into those circles they notice your poor grammar etc & can make you feel VERY small. Is that what Mel B’s comment ‘remember where you came from’ was about? Geri wanted to elevate her social class too.

VB was enjoying & having fun with pop career here. I am not sure the fashion world good for her & as she’s not a quitter & she wanted to ‘win’ at almost any price.

Here too she speaks of her love for family & she’s really tried to shield BB as she explains. Sometimes it’s easy to assume your kids have your wisdom & resilience. Did everything just get too big? I feel sad for her watching this.

She doesn’t have the best smile, I can see why she avoids it for photos.

Rubbish !

She has /had objectively good teeth too; in my professional opinion as a long -qualified UK dentist.

TB doesn’t name anyone at all in recent years though in his book (?) He mentions MC at Glasto & VB being angry about any potential flirtation but nothing specific. Nothing explicit about sex workers too (?)

Look at her in Parkinson clip upthread, she’s beautiful when she smiles. She’s clearly had her lips done substantially since - do augmented lips not look best when smiling on camera sometimes?

27pilates · 31/01/2026 13:37

Sorry was responding to @LowdermilkParknasty comment upthread.
For what it’s worth, augmented lips are not aesthetically pleasing for me personally. Augmented-anything facially, I don’t personally find anatomically correct / nice to look at. Obviously corrective surgery for congenital /accidents don’t fall into this category for me.
I don’t do any of that type of aesthetic work and am totally
uninterested in it from a professional perspective.

LowdermilkPark · 31/01/2026 13:38

She did have lovely gnashers in the Parky clip, but they’re not her originals. No snark - I have had lots of cosmetic dentistry done too.
