Unopened Yorkshire puddings (fridge ones, not frozen) dated use by 30th December?

Yes, absolutely

Tammygirl12 · 01/01/2026 17:10

Definitely

randomchap · 01/01/2026 17:11

Yeah, they'll be fine

MyLimeGuide · 01/01/2026 17:11

Yes

DanceMumTaxi · 01/01/2026 17:14

Absolutely

MartinCrieffsHat · 01/01/2026 17:16

They'd have been long gone here but yes, I would eat them.

Cyclingmummy1 · 01/01/2026 17:16

Yes. I'll be eating open cream dated the 30th with my pudding this evening.

Imaginingdragonsagain · 01/01/2026 17:18

Yes I would.

JDM625 · 01/01/2026 17:18

I'd check there were no green/white signs of mould and if not, heat them thoroughly and eat 😋

Thepeopleversuswork · 01/01/2026 17:29

God yes.

BCBird · 01/01/2026 17:31

Yes definitely.

DameOfThrones · 01/01/2026 17:32

Yep.

susiedaisy1912 · 01/01/2026 17:32

Yep

DameOfThrones · 01/01/2026 17:35

My son asked me yesterday if it was safe to eat an unopened, perfectly fine looking punnet of cherries that went out of date the day before 🙄

FreedomForFree · 01/01/2026 17:39

Why wouldn't you?

Grumblies · 01/01/2026 17:40

Yes of course. Why wouldn't you?

PGmicstand · 01/01/2026 17:47

Yes. Send them over and I'll deal with them.

mrsh2025 · 01/01/2026 17:49

Yep absolutely

I hope you told him no! - and ate them yourself. That’d teach him not to be so daft.

Ilovelurchers · 01/01/2026 18:02

Yes.

averychoc · 01/01/2026 18:04

No

muddyford · 01/01/2026 18:07

Yes.

bridgetreilly · 01/01/2026 18:26

What do you think could be wrong with them?!

LilyBunch25 · 01/01/2026 18:31

Yes

Left · 01/01/2026 18:39

Are they “use by” or “best before”?

If use by, then I wouldn’t risk it, use by date is a food safety cut off date.

Best before is for food quality so might be okay, just not as nice as when fresh.
