To think noone actually likes Love Hearts?

Sweet tooth moment and all we had were a packet of love hearts which I begrudgingly had a couple of, and once again pondered about who actually would choose love hearts as first option? They're like sweet and sour chalk...

Does anyone actually enjoy them except in dire emergencies such as the above? Are there any other sweets you can't get your head around?

I am a greedy bugger, but love heart are utterly foul. I don't eat them. And there isn't much I won't eat.

Parma violets are disgusting though!

I don't mind them but would never choose them in a sweetie shop.

Parma Violets on the other hand are disgusting, like licking the floor at Duty Free.

I was at an event recently and they had sweets on the tables. I picked up a few mini packets or they’d be thrown away. Couldn’t manage any more than a couple of sweets, I remembered why I don’t buy them. Was going to give the rest away but that would send a message that I don’t particularly want to! They’re still in my handbag as an emergency sweet stash. And probably will be until the next time I sort it out and bin them.

Not only do I love them, I buy the personalised ones from the Swizzels website and use them as place settings at Christmas. 🎅

You should keep them, because knowing you have them as an emergency sweet may stop you buying other sweets on impulse at the shop - then when you get home, you don’t actually want to eat them.

DD found them really good for heartburn when she was pregnant.

I quite like them, though I prefer Refreshers (the proper ones, not the chewy abominations)
