I know it’s early but I left my husband for a few hours yesterday, two cans of snow spray and asked him to do something nice with it on our front room window.. Came home to this, amazing stuff I think. Should I start pimping him out, would you pay for this, how much? If

They're lovely, very talented.

Very strangely the pics are blurred and say sensitive content when I open your post, wtf??

OnToast81 · 21/11/2025 21:58

Thanks everyone, apart from whoever said it was a template.. You’re wrong he is just good.
Turns out I don’t need to pimp him out, he’s already been asked to do Paddington for a friend tomorrow, I’ll post a picture when he’s finished.
He said he sprayed the window all white and then drew into it using a Tesco club card and my makeup brushes, not even angry about that I’m so happy with it.

Wow he’s a really talented artist, I assume he can do the same with spray paint? It is really cool.

ScorchingEgg · 21/11/2025 23:31

These are incredible. Usually I come to threads like these and I’m like ‘eh…’ but he’s genuinely very talented. If I were him I would be exploring other mediums too and dedicating some more time to art. When you have a gift, use it.

Starscape · 21/11/2025 23:36

The Rupert looks almost 3d

StruggleFlourish · 22/11/2025 01:41

Hi there, I'd like to tell you that the pictures of your husband's handiwork, (and that's just aerosol spray snow and your window?) absolutely made my night. God, what beautiful images of Rupert and friends. Absolutely love it. He's extremely talented and please tell him so! Thank you for sharing!

StruggleFlourish · 22/11/2025 01:45

Just saw op's latest post and I wanted to say yes definitely... If he's doing another artwork tomorrow (Paddington) and someone is there who's half decent with a camera and has the time and your friend doesn't mind an extra person they're filming, definitely definitely, take video. And not just from behind him, do it from the other side of the window as well, so that you're looking right at him as he's spraying, you might want a two camera setup, which shouldn't be all that difficult, everybody's got a phone right? If one person like your friend could video from the outside (just for a minute or so) and one person from the inside or put a camera on a tripod, have it running the whole time and then you can speed it up so it looks like he's super fast cuz no one wants to watch in real time, everybody needs everything to be fast, but that would be really great.
It would get a lot of views, not only because it's a different form of art, using spray snow on windows, but also because it's seasonal, and also because he's so talented!
YouTube shorts allows for 3 minutes now not just one, but the video has to be in portrait / up and down orientation which is something to be considered before taking the video.

Incredible

user1492757084 · 22/11/2025 02:13

Rupert Bear was his inspiration perhaps.

Your husband is clever with spray.

Rachie1973 · 22/11/2025 02:14

They’re lovely!

It’s good, and if he practices his depth perception he could be on to something. If he has a look at snow graffiti on insta, https://www.instagram.com/snow.graffiti.scott?igsh=N2tveGkwemd3dGoy he has some amazing tutorials - that’s how I learned.

They’re almost suspiciously good. Are you sure he didn’t hire a professional to do it while you were out? Ask him to do one while you’re watching 🤣

😂 Talented people do have families! Some of them even have family members on Mumsnet, or are Mumsnetters.

springintoaction2 · 22/11/2025 04:53

@OnToast81 your DH needs to change professions - to artist!

hattie43 · 22/11/2025 05:23
