Have you had them done or any experiences with them?

I need a few implants so I am looking at 'all on 4' or similar

My local dentist said 3k per implant! Which is a lot

I have heard so many turkey horror stories so I am unsure about going there

Would love to hear experiences and advice if possible please

Regular mn user but name changed as embarrassed about teeth 🥺🙈

Tia x

Edit, I am london based x

I had some done under sedation, but it's not necessary. If you have sedation, you need to have someone with you, and to be around afterwards as you'll be a bit groggy.

The most recent ones, I had 2 implants put in, walked home, back to WFH, carried on with my day.

FWIW, I have a high pain threshold (have had teeth removed without local anaesthetic), which is why I said it does hurt, but it's discomfort more than pain, and your jaw will be sore from being open a long time.
(Tooth extraction without LA is very painful)

Yes, I had a post fitted for an implant about 5 weeks ago.

I was given prescription anti inflammatories for the pain, but I really didn't need them. The usual dose of Ibuprofen was more than enough. I was WFH the next day, doing Zoom interviews, and was worried that I'd be conked out from the pain so had my meds all lined up just in case. But I've had headaches which caused much worse pain. This was all without sedation.

I had two done at The Brighton Implant clinic which is CNN in Church Road Hove. They must be 10 years old now and my ordinary dentist says they were very well done. I have had no problems with them and the price was very competitive. They get very good reviews on Trustpilot. I may need to have 2 more soon and I will certainly be going back.

Bet the price has soared!
