Brooklyn missed the Sir David Beckham knighthood

How far is too far?

Brooklyn has missed his Dad’s 50th birthday celebrations (in London, Cotswolds and Miami).

His mums Netflix premier and family summer holiday to Italy, instead going to South of France.

Crucially, his Dads Knighthood.

Of course we don’t know at this point if he was in fact invited to Windsor Castle given his no shows elsewhere.

Have you had a family feud, with a parent or sibling notably. How long did it go on for, what did you miss of one another’s and is it still going and why?

AIBU to think Brooklyn is going to regret this one day.

And that’s fine, but if one year you didn’t and your friends spread rumours that it was because you’d had a massive falling out then that would be a leap.

It would indeed! I get the impression that it was a big holiday including all the other kids though so can see it’s more likely that they didn’t go for a particular reason rather than they just happened to be holidaying separately. That particular reason could be nothing to do with a falling out though.

To turn the question around: will his parents regret what they’ve done one day?

Sadly I doubt it because they’ve normalised splashing their children’s lives across the media and they seem to think that giving them ‘opportunities’ like the photography book, releasing a Christmas single etc despite a lack of any discernible talent, is a positive thing.

Who fucking cares? It’s so inconsequential to anyone with a brain.

If only we could be nice to each other.

I know! But why let facts get in the way of a bit of gossip 🙄

Exactly, he took his parents and his wife (who the moment the camera was on her did that stupid hip thrust forward pose and then wobbled the entire time😂).

I thought his parents looked proud as punch. I'm not a fan of the Beckhams, and I don't think he deserves a knighthood, but his parents seem like nice people who are proud of 'their boy'.

I think it's because all his other children were there afterwards....

Respectfully, was your brother spoilt? Brooklyn clearly is, my sister is very much spoilt and the one who has cut contact. Many years younger than me with a totally different childhood. I just can’t see many children who grew up with little turning their backs on their family.

Actually no but it was a complicated situation as they worked together (there's a reason they say never work with family!) and other brother would take the piss and not work a full day, leave if his friends turned up etc. So it's kinda the opposite situation where someone thinks their sibling gets an easier time. Saying that he hates everyone so whoever he worked with he would probably despise lol.

Agree re Brooklyn being spoilt, but then maybe he is just married now and that's where his priority lies? Perhaps he will have a change of heart some day. Hope your sister sees sense too-and you get back some sort of relationship (if you'd want that!)
