Did anyone think their hug looked a bit, erm, too intimate? She had her hands in his hair?! Why would you hug another woman's husband so tightly and with your full body like that? Especially since your own husband died barely two months ago. It's so weird and inappropriate. I think they're having an affair!!!

I just looked at an Usha fan account to see if there was evidence to the contrary. JD and Usha were holding hands during to event.
On balance, I don’t think affair, but it was bizarrely touchy feely. I can’t imagine he wouldn’t have liked the hug.

I find the Erika Kirk judgement for what she wears, how she hugs people very grim. If she was having an affair with him, she wouldn’t be advertising it to the nation. Looks like Vance and his wife have been a big support for her and she is close to them.

I mean - there’s speculation all over the internet. It was super weird. His hands on her waist, her hands in his hair….do you hug your friends like that? If so maybe you have the loose morals!

I have no idea if they are having an affair and I wouldn’t want to speculate. Frankly, I couldn’t care less what they do in their personal lives. They’re welcome to each other. They are both people with utterly appalling, repulsive views.

I don’t know why you’re getting such a hard time op. The internet is on fire with theories about the pair of them and the speculation about a presidential bid. Neither of them morally are above using Charlie to get into the Whitehouse.

JD is vile. I just read what he said at that conference about how he hopes his wife will give up her Hindu faith and convert to Christianity. I mean is that the kind of laundry you air in public? So disrespectful. And that hug WAS totally inappropriate. I have many close male friends, BILs, male cousins etc who I hug. I would never stroke their hair like that, so weird. I would only touch my DH and my DS and maybe my nephews in that way.

They're both really horrible people, so it's unsurprising to see a bunch of right-wing ghouls defending them and calling everyone else 'vile' 🙄
