Could you at least tell us what standing with the Jewish community involves?

What are you doing for them to make a difference?

Its interesting some of the responses on here.

When a thread is started about standing with Palestinians, I dont recall snidey or snipey remarks like 'I'll update the spreadsheet' and 'cool'.

Anyway, its time to focus on the ceasefire and hope that plans move forward for releases and calm. Aid will be making its way through to those suffering in Gaza. Support should be shown also for Jewish people in this country to live safe lives.

What point do they prove? I genuinely meant it when I said who cares who you support - it's 100% your choice and your business.

OP I don't understand why you would start this thread. The Jewish community has suffered greatly and it would be seen that anti semitism has risen hugely (no more than in the light of the recent tragedy). Starting a thread with a title like that is only looking for an inflammatory pile on that will lead to more negativity and a reason for anyone semites to post .

While I do get your general point, I would say that it does seem to be that a pro-Palestinian stance is the more morally accepted one right now. Most Jewish people feel they have to be very careful right now. Physically and online. I too just wish the whole thing would stop, as I think most of us do.

I stand with all people ( apart from Trump and Putin and Natanayhu) regardless of religion. It’s just Israel I don’t stand with. You can separate the country/government from the religion you know. It is allowed and I know plenty of Jewish people who think the same way.
