A woman who lives near me and my family copies everything I do. I changed my car a few weeks ago and I watched as she walked past my house, she looked so annoyed and cross. She went bright red and I thought that she was going to burst.
Yesterday, I had my hair cut into a short Bob. I saw this.....person who was staring at me but as usual she wouldn't speak to me and later in the afternoon she flounced past my house with a newly cut short Bob. She was staring at my window grinning.
I have never spoken to her but she copies the silliest of things like a change in lipstick colour.
Do you think I should worry? Or is it just that I am such a trend setter?

its posh and Katie Holmes!!!!

TwoFirTreesToday · 04/06/2008 14:38

and wigs, so it looks like you have dyed your hair!
Really odd and worrying, does she fancy your husband, do you have a rabbit, dont get a nanny and a white picket fence, it could all get very nasty...

WowOoo · 04/06/2008 14:44

Savoy I had my wobbles before you and if you don't believe me will show you how old they are on youtube so there. And I don't even like your wobbles mine are lumpy and wobbly which is much better so there. OK?

WowOoo · 04/06/2008 14:45

oh yeah and hairy. Beat that!

GreenElizabeth · 04/06/2008 14:50

ha ha cola!

I reckon she was pissed off because she'd ordered her car already when yours arrived, booked her hair apt when she saw you'd had yours done, and she correctly guessed that you'd be convinced she copied you...

WowOoo · 04/06/2008 15:00

PS Goober. Not meaning to be rude at all. It was just very very funny though.

LynetteScavo · 04/06/2008 18:34

You are all being harsh on goober, now she's flounced.

I thought she was being funny with the nicer house, and being better looking.Very Mumsnet, but as she's a newbie didn't get away with it. Are you still following this, Goober? You trendsetter, you.

BLONDIEBABE · 05/06/2008 10:27

it obvious that goober has never read threads on here before and clearly doesn't have a sense of humour when it comes to jokey replies.
OMG!!!!!

savoycabbage · 05/06/2008 14:12

There is nothing funny about two people who live on the same street both having bobs. It is an outrage and something ought to be done about it I say.

Kimi · 05/06/2008 14:24

Don't get a rabbit

Jenbot · 05/06/2008 18:49

Wait, Goober has a bob?
I'm getting one!

mynameisbond · 06/06/2008 11:14

How the hell can you tell when someone you don't even talk to changes their lipstick colour to match yours

LynetteScavo · 06/06/2008 20:56

Goober sometimes wears bright red lipstick, she has been through a black lipsick phase, and also blue glittery.

Clone woman alays copies.

edam · 06/06/2008 21:01

I'm giggling at someone who thinks their hairstyle is a Bob. Pleased to meet you, Goober's hair, my hair's called Rupert.
