SOrry girls, i love you all but FFS

If you are a SAHM you must be some sort of under acheiver and/or lazy

If you are WOHM you are made to feel guilty for abandoning your children with strangers.

God forbid that you be working class.

If you choose the wrong food/clothes/play gym/music class for your children, you aint gonna fit in either.

If you ask for help and support then you are weak and should be shoved over to anothe forum that "is able to offer the sort of help these people require".

HAve we forgotten that we are all mothers and fathers here? That we all share one common love - our children???

AIBU used to be a place we could have a good old whinge. Now it just seems like a platform for judgement and prejudice.........it honestly is like the corner of the common room at school where all the popular girls gather like a pack of lions judging and bitching about the rest of the school.

LEM you are right. But I think what ever you do or say, there will always be some who agree, and some who disagree. But to typecast it towards middleclass, working class, etc, is just simply very British. You brits (and I am not having a go, it is just an observation) seem to be unable to think outside Class-ification.

OrmIrian · 03/06/2008 11:17

"hunky PE teacher"? Our PE teacher was a scrawny Scottish lady who barked at the 'guurrrrrls' like the prison warder in Porridge. And, for some reason known to herself alone, called me Tina which was not my name.

What scholl did you go to?
Our male PE teachers were ancient at LEAST 40 (what can I say, I was a teenager ) or scary lesbians

Solitaire · 03/06/2008 12:00

Lucymum, you are so wrong. It's the honesty, even the ignorant,

very non political correctness of MN that makes it worth participating.

It's because every dilemma gets some reply -right, wrong, mad, angry, whatever that MNs turn to MN when they need it.
