Person working next to me smacks their lips

The lovely young lady who works at the desk next to mine has an AWFUL habit of smacking her lips and eating with her mouth open, at her desk.

This is driving me up the wall.

What do I do without strangling an otherwise lovely person.

We had someone at work. He did it more when tired or stressed. So us ladies called him Niggles, as we knew when he got niggely, he made us laugh

You have my full sympathy. I have a colleague like this, except he's not actually otherwise lovely, but has many annoying traits. There is a part of me which is almost impressed by how he can slurpily eat the most non-slurpy food. I don't know quite how he manages it. I have put headphones on quite often, and I went to work in a different area the other day but I can't do that often because of network restrictions.

Another colleague was constantly clicking his pen the other day. I did point out I would be obliged to kill him if he didn't stop. Fortunately, this one is generally lovely, with a sense of humour, and he just laughed and stopped.

God I'm feeling this. Hoola Hoops should also have a warning on the bag, that they are only to be consumed in private.

I have a colleague that breathe holds then makes a guttural sigh. She also eats like an animal from a trough, I can hear cobbling, lio smacking.

I have to pace the corridors at lunch.
