HUMMUS recall toddler diarreah

Hi I'm so sorry for posting this in AIBU but I'm hoping more people will see. Just seen an article about a specific hummus from Sainsbury's being recalled for containing e coli bacteria. My DD (2.5) ate it Thursday evening and has quite severe diarreah at the moment. Really panicking, any tips? She's never had a poorly tummy before

@Zodiacrobat thank you. DD is happily playing next to me and I was having a morning cuppa so I came on the thread and read everything, responded to someone asking me why I didn't call a GP on a Saturday night and then posted a separate response to how DD is. If people would wait and give me a chance haha!

I've read several articles and alerts on this issue and all name the culprit as JS Classic Hummus. I wonder if the organic varient is also affected? Its also called Classic Hummus but has the word Organic added above.

I love Sainsbury's hummus and eat 2 pots a week. I'll find this quite off putting going forward.

OP, I hope your DD is OK.

I don't think it was the organic version! Just the classic big pot. I feel quite put off myself. I'll be making my own hummus going forward !

Yeah things like this can really put you off. Even if it wasn't the hummus and a coincidence the thought will turn your stomach, my thing is chicken soup🤢
