Is it too much to expect your cleaner to clean the toilet seat?

I have noticed my cleaner does not clean inside the toilet seat. Skid marks etc are left as they are. For a while ai let this go as people using the toilet should not leave it so dirty. However, I don’t always keep an eye on the guest toilet which is in our garden room. i would often ask her to clean it before I am expecting guests but I had to go in there for another reason and saw the toilet is dirty. She told me she had cleaned the bathroom.
Do your cleaners clean the toilet seat inside and out?

@Truetoself so who is the dirty guest leaving a shitty toilet??? lock the garden room toilet so no one can use it! who lives in the household? you and dh, or you, dh and young kids???

I honestly can’t believe that people like OP expect others to clean up their shit marks. Beyond my comprehension I’m afraid, let alone it being totally disgusting and demeaning.
It makes me wonder what state the rest of the house is in.

So many people cannot read! But general feeling is what I thought - shouldn’t expect cleaner to clean inside the toilet.

Yes you can expect a cleaner to clean inside a toilet. They can and should but it's basic human decency to do a quick check before they come to make sure that there's no actual poo marks left. Have an actual word with yourself.

I check for skidders before my cleaner comes, she doesn't need to deal with that.
Also, people in this house have been trained to deal with their own skidders so it doesn't arise
