To feel a bit sick when looking at certain celebs?

I have a weird thing where certain people make me feel physically sick/Uneasy. It’s mainly celebrities or people in the public eye.

One example is Jeremy Corbyn. Nothing to do with his politics - it’s something about him.

My latest one is Danny Dyer - especially with a moustache.

Anyone else get this?

@Sera1989 yes, eg I find Miriam Margolyes repulsive,although she was great in Romeo and Juliet, many people love her which I find baffling, but the shudder vibe encompasses Damian Hurley who is not ugly but, decidedly creepy, even allowing for the androgyny, sometimes the reaction is inexplicable, sometimes its prescient, as posters ^^have already pointed out, a prime example lf course being JS. who was, ugly, so yes I believe its a defense mechanism.

He actually died in 2019...just checked as I was also unsure.

I actually really like listening to her. Don't really see her on much so have no feelings either way there, but I think she's a very natural and talented radio presenter. She comes across as warm and genuine.

@CalzoneOnLegs I feel the same about Ruth Goodman. I can’t fault her enthusiasm but she just doesn’t seem to take care of herself, somehow.

Barry Cryer used to do this to me. I think it was his hair.

I agree with Damian Hurley. He is a gorgeous looking young man, but the smouldering looks to the camera and lipstick make me feel a little queasy. Maybe its because he looks identical to Liz Hurley .... they is nothing of his father in his face at all!!!! Is he a clone?

Also Billie Piper. Wonderful actress, very beautiful woman, but I always think she looks in need of a good bath and hair wash.

I think it's partially that. Some of the stuff he did was horrific... But also I think I like the faux Cockney better than the real him, who comes across as an arrogant tw*t regardless of the abuse.

Farage - goes without saying really. Didn't someone comment that he looks like he's got a finger up his bum and he really rather likes it?
Trump. Again, obviously. He looks waxy and unwell, makes me feel queasy.
Certain types of celebs who are very overly made up and just look dirty as a result make me feel yucky. Far too much bronzer and contouring and foundation. I always imagine they smell of clothes that need washing and very strong perfume. They'd sit on your new cream sofa and leave skiddy make up marks all over it.

That’s my problem with Geoffrey Rush.

Daniel Radcliffe, he looks sickly. Pink and Debi Mazur, they have a similar facial structure that I find jarring

Robert Pattinson, dull and characterless

Joe Swash is too smiley but not particularly sincere I think thats off putting.

I don't find Keir Starmer repulsive but I do find him wooden and robotic and completely lacking in charisma. When he speaks publicly he has zero facial expression which is weird and unsettling. It gives the impression that he's either inwardly terrified or confused about why he's there.

I could forgive all that if he was effective and making anything better but he's not He's an absolutely shit prime minister who doesn't seem to stand for anything in particular and can't make up his mind from one week to the next what his policies are. He's completely and utterly out of his depth.

Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, in Slow Horses. Disgusting.

Talking of fillers etc,Tulisa is on This Morning & her face has completely changed. She looked so much better before. I can’t understand people that are still relatively young wanting to do this. Actually, any age!
