No sun here although it was in the forecast. About 20 something.

33 Majorca. Glad of air con

TeenLifeMum · 12/08/2025 15:45

Somerset is 30 degrees. I’ve been moving furniture 🙄

puppy seems to think laying in the sun is a good idea so need to get her inside 🤦🏻‍♀️

TheLeadbetterLife · 12/08/2025 15:46

38°, Algarve. I was dreading this mini heatwave, but it's actually quite nice, as the humidity is very low. House is cool. Just done an hour's intense yoga, got very sweaty, then had a dip in the pool. Back to work now!

BestZebbie · 12/08/2025 16:06

32 in Cambridge - too hot to run around in the garden in direct sunlight for more than a few minutes (OK doing so in the shade).

Springersrock · 12/08/2025 16:08

Yes, has been out all day.

It’s 28 degrees, but I’m right on the coast so it’s nice and breezy and pretty lush.

RampantIvy · 12/08/2025 16:08

Cool and damp this morning. Sunny and a pleasant 25 degrees now (South Yorkshire).

newtb · 12/08/2025 16:18

40 °C here and the air isn't moving. At all. Have the fan on which is wafting warm air at me. Just north of Brive la Gaillarde in SW France. Supposed to je cooking down next week.

PlutoCat · 12/08/2025 16:20

32 with a breeze. It is very pleasant.

Drivingthevengabus · 12/08/2025 16:23

Not sure about outside but it's 27.5 in my office at home - I'm in SE England.

TwinklyFawn · 12/08/2025 16:23

It is 28 degrees and sunny in west yorkshire. Last week it felt like autumn was on the way. I am feeling sorry for myself. Anything above 25 degrees is too warm for me. My hayfever is worse when it is hot.

TomatoSandwiches · 12/08/2025 16:25

33°C and a few of the medications I take make it intolerable.

Fuzzypinetree · 12/08/2025 16:26

Yes, sunny. 36 degrees...
Shame I'm back at work.

jay55 · 12/08/2025 16:26

32, sun is out and it’s baking inside.

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 12/08/2025 16:28

Alberta, Canada. 9:30am and 16. Forecast calls for a high of 26.

Seawolves · 12/08/2025 16:28

30° with blue skies and sunshine, glad to have a northeast facing garden today. The back of the house is beautifully cool.

Tedsnan1 · 12/08/2025 16:28

31 here. Too hot.

Hedgesfullofbirds · 12/08/2025 16:30

Coastal Somerset - 31 degrees and blazing sunshine - vile!

Where are all you lucky people having rain? The land and everything upon it here is very, very sick and trees are starting to die - it needs to start raining now and continue for several weeks to undo some of the damage caused by the drought and repeated heatwaves. My raingauge has recorded a cumulative total of less than 2" since late February - we desperately need some of the precious, life giving liquid, and in abundance!

Cooler, wetter summers are infinitely preferable to these extremes of heat and lack of precipitation

Boutonnière · 12/08/2025 16:39

London outer suburb, roasting in my admittedly south facing sun trap garden - too hot to stay out there for more than a minute. Have seen hardly anyone walk by and DD reports the nearest large shopping area is a ghost town. Rain last night has put blotchy dust all over the cars again.

StrokeCity · 12/08/2025 16:41

Warm and sunny in NI, about 24 degrees

Purplebunnie · 12/08/2025 16:45

25 degrees inside in East Sussex 26 degrees outside with a breeze.

amibeingharshhere · 12/08/2025 16:46

33 here

SisterMargaretta · 12/08/2025 16:49

40 degrees here in South West France. Had to eat indoors last night because it was too uncomfortably hot to eat outside at 8pm.

Dappy777 · 12/08/2025 16:49

Essex. 30 degrees and sunny. Too hot for me. The sun is lovely, but I cannot wait for the first cold, frosty day where you can see your breath and need a thick duvet to sleep. This summer has reminded how much I f-ing hate the heat.

Crunchymum · 12/08/2025 16:51

31c, central London.

Awful. Highlight of the day was going into Sainsburys where is was very pleasantly cool.

Even being in my in-laws shaded, north facing garden hasn't helped us today. It's too hot.

JohnTheRevelator · 12/08/2025 16:51

I'm in west London. The temperature is 29 C and yes,the sun is out. Too damn hot for me. I'm sitting in a nice air conditioned Costa's.
