No sun here although it was in the forecast. About 20 something.

32 here in Somerset and it feels it too! I'm lucky that I have a day off so can sit in the garden with a book and a large parasol.

Sunny and 32° - London

Just hit 40c yesterday. We were in a national park in Croatia. Because it is in a valley it was like a cauldron. There were 100 steps up to get back out. Hideous.

Clear blue skies here and it's high 20s. My kids are happily playing in the paddling pool. I did not realise there was a hosepipe bamm in place until DH came home and told me, by which time it was already filled up. Oops.

Florida--it's 10 am and 31C. Very sunny and humid. High today will be 32.5. Glad to have aircon, because the first real break in the heat won't come until early November.

Hot and sunny here in Kent. My phone tells me it’s 29 degrees. We’ve been to Maidstone shopping but are glad to be back with a cup of tea. I’ve put some washing in which will go straight out on the line. In this weather it should dry in a nanosecond 😁

Nice and sunny here in Costa Rica. Quite cool at the moment but it's only 8:30am. Should get up to 30c later, but I can see I would have been hotter if I'd been at home in SW London today. ☺️

No paddling pool here. House pipe ban since start of school holidays, when the weather dropped five degrees in temperature, until now, plus days of heavy rain.

Been glorious all day here on the east coast in Scotland. Currently 25 C

25 degrees BUT - and this is the crucial bit - “feels like” 29 degrees. High humidity and light winds. I’m in Scotland on holiday and trying to cool down

Returning home to the SE tomorrow where it’s currently 29 degrees, “feels like” 32 but with low humidity and a breeze. So it’s not all about the recorded temperature but the humidity and whether there’s a breeze.

We hang onto the heat and lucky Scotland don’t!
