Woman who smeared faeces on nursery walls and dumped dirty nappies dodges prison

Abbi Taylor pleaded guilty to dumping bags of toxic materials outside Newcastle nurseries earlier this year, with her defending lawyer saying she had done so to 'gain comfort'

Just wondered what law says misgendering is a crime? I might be naive and clueless but I thought the Supreme Court based its ruling on biological sex not gender.

Maybe it's the protected characteristic of gender reassignment that would be at play if someone misgendered another, I dunno. Seems a bit woolly to me since gender reassignment could be claimed by anyone.

Oh whoops, perhaps the picture editor was a bit pissed…

Zoe would be too vulnerable in a men’s prison though unless her name was Pete.

Zoe is a large aggressive man with a history of violent acts and should be nowhere near women in prison. The prison service have to jkeep countless other "vulnerable" men safe in prisons and they can include Zoe with them

Lilactimes · 08/08/2025 21:36

MrsOvertonsWindow · 08/08/2025 20:47

I hope this is satire but just in case....
The most vulnerable groups are those babies in the nursery.
Children who may come in contact with him
Everyone who had to clear up after him - those poor nursery staff having to clear up after him
And countless other groups in society who don't have the judiciary pandering to their demands and getting a get out of jail card because he found custody difficult.

While society gives men like him a free pass to continue their perverted behaviour, society as a whole feels less safe, more fractured and our confidence in the police and judiciary eroded by their pandering to his demands rather than prioritising the safety of babies.

Absolutely this.
He’s a man with an unpleasant fetish that causes harm to others - bang him up in male prison.

SmartDog · 08/08/2025 21:36

People here need to keep this sick bloke in mind when answering certain types of posts on mumsnet. There are ‘poo trolls’ that mumsnet often likes to give the benefit of the doubt to and naive mumsnetter share their stories. You’re probably sharing details with this sort of sick, perverted man.

Wistfullysleepy · 08/08/2025 19:33

Is this logged as a crime by a male or a female?

I wondered that too

ThisTicklishFatball · 08/08/2025 21:44

This is absolutely terrible, disgusting, unlawful, and reprehensible.

In this case, it’s obvious the man is doing it because he wants to. I hope he gets arrested because he definitely committed crimes. If he doesn't get arrested, our legal system will have another joke on its hands. I suggest someone should verify if his private parts, which confirm he is a man, are intact to ensure he hasn't removed them to avoid men's prison. There are people around him supporting him, including women, without a doubt.

The problems in our country are undoubtedly cultural, educational, and legal. There are several concerning issues in British culture, education and legislation. Laws have become overly permissive, allowing things that arguably shouldn't be legal. Our culture has become too accepting of unusual, unsafe and unhealthy behaviors, often just for the sake of appearances on social media. Both state and private schools share blame, as they fail to challenge flawed teaching and present inaccurate content in science and humanities to gain social media approval.

I wish people would stop using mental health issues as an excuse and constantly blaming the NHS. Yes, the NHS is failing, but it also shares part of the blame. They seem to be diagnosing everyone with mental health issues—even when a child cries for a popsicle, it gets labeled as something. This approach doesn’t help their financial situation.

This isn't just a "men issue," even though many unreasonably criticize men while being in relationships (marriage, partnership, dating, or whatever) with them or raising sons. If the men in your life aren't good, part of the responsibility lies in making better choices. If your husbands and sons aren't great, you share some of the blame too. Rather than being an internet keyboard warrior, focus on making wiser decisions.

The BBC has footage of him in a bin, scrabbling through nappies with his trousers down. The nursery staff were afraid, the owners spent thousands installing security because of this man's antics and some poor sods had to clear up the mess he made. He walks free, sticking a finger up to journalists.

The beard is the final piss take.

Oh. That is grim.

Not women’s crimes! These crimes need to be accurately reported and recorded.

dogcatkitten · 08/08/2025 20:56

They are obviously nuts, what would be the point of prison? Hopefully they will get mental health help, they didn't actually hurt anybody.

The judge said, "it was "surprising" the defendant had not been diagnosed with any "acute" mental health condition."

You say he didn't actually hurt anybody but some poor sod had to clear up the filth he left and there was financial and personal cost to those impacted.

"one of the nursery managers said staff had been traumatised by the "really sinister" episodes."

"One nursery spent £3,000 improving security while others had spent hundreds of pounds installing CCTV and lighting,"

"Taylor's actions had left staff fearing to enter and leave work and parents wanting to remove their children from the nurseries"

"must have been horrifying" for parents leaving their children at nurseries where Taylor had "strewn" waste."

It also wasn't the first time he'd done this. He had 90 offences on his criminal record and in November 2014 was found partially clothed in a bin of nappies.

This is what he does.

The SC ruling was about the specific issue of access to single-sex spaces, not every possible complexity of Genderwang.

The Mirror seems to have made it clear by writing "Taylor, who identified and was referred to in the court as a woman" that they are calling him a woman on that basis, not that they have missed the large amounts of facial hair. (When I see pictures of this kind of "trans" man, I always want to shout "At least make a bit of an effort, FFS".)

dontcomeatme · 08/08/2025 21:49

deeahgwitch · 08/08/2025 21:44

I wondered that too

It says they were identified and prosecuted in the courtroom as a female so probably female 😑

dontcomeatme · 08/08/2025 21:50

I can't believe what I've just read. A man pretending to be a woman has been playing in bins with nappies and literal baby shit and the papers write about it like it's 100% normal 😐 no no no. WTAF. Lock him up.

Zov · 08/08/2025 21:53

What in the everloving purple ponytail is going on?! Shock

LBFseBrom · 08/08/2025 21:55

How bizarre. That is awful. The woman obviously needs treatment, I hope she receives it during her two year suspended sentence.

Zoe would be too vulnerable in a men’s prison though unless her name was Pete.

And female prisoners are vulnerable to being locked up with creepy perverted men.

I’m more concerned about the welfare actual women than cosplaying male criminals

Pinkelephantridesagain · 08/08/2025 22:00

Not a woman.
Not diagnosed with a psychiatric condition.
Needs to be in prison with other ‘vulnerable’ men not released to continue offending.

If there was a cure for his condition he’d have been cured after the last debacle. But no.

It'll probably stop when we actually have a fully functioning mental health support system in the NHS

That is the problem. Putting people on medication does not erase their problems.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/08/2025 22:24

Stickingpoint · 08/08/2025 20:38

we should support her because she is part of the most vulnerable group in society.

No
This person who calls themselves Abbi is putting the lives of the most vulnerable group in society at risk , ie the Children and Babies in the Nursery .

A bearded adult 46 yo person who I am betting the farm has a functional penis and climbs into shit filled bins is many many things . But vulnerable ? Nope .

That is a convicted male criminal.

That is not a woman in any way.

But yes, I hope he gets the help he needs.

Helleofabore · 08/08/2025 22:30

And smearing faeces on babies’ bottles is directly intending to harm babies. Or if they were disposable bottles, to represent causing harm to babies.

There simply is no other way to look at this.
