as long as you have only hand-luggage they're cheap. I love them.

I flew back from France with them last year, I had my 3 DD's (including DD3 in a sling) with me. We were late thanks to useless French taxi driver. The lady winked and whisked us through to security, whispered something to the security people, they let us through (took my bottle of Pineau that I'd forgotten I'd put in my hand baggage though ) and we got our flight.

Yes they're crap and all that but they are cheeeeeeeeap.

I didn't even realise this was an old thread.

Planes are like buses really and you wouldn't expect a bus to wait for you. I agree the trip may be more important but you can't blame them if, for whatever reason, you're not there on time. I would HATE to work for the cheapy airlines, when the wallies who are late start trotting out that they are lawyers or journos or know Stelios. Cringe. Bottom line is they are cheap for a reason and a fine for a missed take off slot is not on the agenda.

Chrysanthamum · 09/04/2010 13:58

i hate them - a horrid airline but have learned thru bitter experience to adhere to their rules. They do not make concessions for anyone. I was happy to learn that they have been taken to court for their non readable printable boarding passes at last. I'd love to boycot them but know i'll use them again as they can offer cheap off peak fares.
I've found Easyjet ok so far but I now hate flying with my kids and often take the boat now from Scotland to Ireland as staff are much nicer.
